It was a day later and I haven't seen Luca all day yesterday because he had to leave early and my parents have been suspicious of the amount of time we spend together.
I don't understand why because they made me get married to him in the first place.
I quickly got dressed for school and wore my leather jacket before leaving the house. I decided to walk to school to move my body a little bit since I also had to sit the whole day yesterday.
I saw Kai and Caleb outside the school and smiled at them sweetly before walking inside. Caleb grinned at me as he waved excitedly and Kai only winked in my direction. I'm also really excited to sit by them at lunch again because they're all so funny!
Nothing could ruin my mood now.
I grabbed my folder from my locker and walked to my first class hurriedly. "Hey!" A hand slapped on the books in my hand and they all fell on the ground. I took a sharp breath before leaning down to grab my books but it was kicked away the moment my hand touched my folder. I got up and was face to face with my best friends.
"Isn't it the fakest bitch of all time? How does the popular dick taste? Have you moved to Evan already?" Chelsey pouted as she crossed her arms and I took a deep breath when Layla also walked around me.
"I wouldn't know since I don't go around. However, I can get into vivid detail about Luca's sex drive since all you could do is imagine about it anyway." I smiled at her which made them both stumble.
You see, when I said Luca changed me, I meant that. Normally I would shut my mouth and run into the girl's bathroom to cry after situations like these but I'm not going to take this from anyone anymore.
"That's really funny. I think you're forgetting who the real queen b's are Cassie if you need a reminder just say so." She said as she stepped on top of my romance books. You can break my makeup all you want, insult me and my family.
But you can't step on my fucking books.
"Alright. Sorry, Regina George, will you let me breathe now?" I rolled my eyes and bent down for my books once more but she nudged me this time.
"Cassia." Luca walked next to me and looked at the girls up and down before smirking. "Bend down and get your books, baby. I dare you to make a move." He said as he now placed his clenched fists in his pockets and stared at the girls. I raised my eyebrows as I looked at the girls who were genuinely shocked.
I don't blame them.
They have never seen Luca fight after all. Or the real Luca, like what he actually looks like.
I bent down and gathered my stuff before Luca pulled me to his side by the waistband of my jeans. The small gesture made me inhale a sharp breath as he wrapped an arm around my shoulder and winked at the girls before turning around and walking me away from them.
"You were handling them well, Floare. I intruded because I don't like you being fucked with." He explained because he thought I'd be mad about him jumping into that situation for me but it actually made me feel the complete opposite.
I literally had a hard time breathing.
Not much happened that day and I was more than happy about it. I ignored the stares I received from Chelsey and Layla but people I didn't know were also so openly staring at me. I got out of the class quickly when it was over and walked to the cafeteria in a hurry after putting my stuff in my locker.
