Darkness Rises/ Mizuta's Backstory

Prologue

It had been a few months since we've been on another trip with Mizuta. I've stayed in contact with her for a while and just texted her every so often. Apparently she made music which I somehow didn't know. Anyway, we packed again to go, and told Mizuta that we were going and if she wanted in. She replied saying that she'd be there in 15 minutes, so we just played a couple of games i got from the humans a while ago. Eventually, she arrived in a green flash. She had a bag already packed, and something in her hand. She walked up to me and left the thing on my lap. "Remember how I said I made music, well I thought you could have one of the discs, because why not?" I looked at the disc, and saw her standing in front of a white wall with a logo on it. She was wearing a hat, and 2 wires connected to it. I walked into my room and got an electronic record player and plugged it into one of the sockets.

We put the disc onto the machine and it played us back the music. We sat for an hour just listening to it, occasionally speaking to tell Mizuta how good her music was. There was at least 15 songs, each one with its own sort of style. After we finished, we got ready to leave and after putting in the number, we all ran in.

Chapter 1-1

We came outside to be in the outskirts of inkopolis in night, with none of the houses lit up from inside. Infact, it looked like the whole city had a power cut. Sydney then pointed up to the sky and told us to look at the moon. It wasn't grey like always, it was a dark purple, and the sky was also lit up by large purple stars. We thought it was just something exclusive to this dimension, and we started to look for a place to stay. We couldn't just knock on the doors of a house since all the houses were turned off, so we had to look for a hotel. After 4 minutes, we find a hotel with all of its doors shut. We walk up to the entrance and read the note. "Due to the global blackout, this hotel has shut down. We will reopen when it is safe to do so". Whatever is happening here must be happening to everywhere else, and also what did it mean by 'safe to do so?. We continued to press on towards the city centre looking for someone who knew what was going on and what to do. As we got closer to the square though, weird things began to appear. There was spray paint everywhere showing a purple cube, a few torches had been placed down, and the biggest one, we saw 7 hooded figures all kneeling in front of a stone statue of someone. Alyssa wanted to ask them what was going on, but we remind her that it probably wasn't a good idea.

Chapter 1-2

Eventually, we got to the centre of the city. More of the torches was placed around the walls and doors, and a throne was put on the stage Pearl and Marina would be during a splatfest. Nobody was around, except for one person looking into the entrance into the underground metro. They wore only a black robe, with a few purple glowing patterns on the back. We look at the figure for a bit, until they turned around and saw us. They just stared at us back for a long time. Untill finally they walked towards us. They were half way across the square when a hook of some kind slammed into the ground right next to us. We all were startled, and after looking up, saw two more figures completely in black clothing staring down at the hooded figure. Then, in the blink of an eye, they jumped down and grabbed the person, removing the robe. "Doesn't look like they're that converted... we should just leave them." One of the figures let go of the person, who runs off into the city. Then one of the figures looks at my hand, with the traveller still being held. "Hey guys, you might want to follow us." We started to follow them towards a helicopter placed nearby. We got on and took off towards some mountains. As we got there, I thought about how all our adventures involved mountains in some way, so this was out likely just a  base carved into the rock. And I was right. We got there to see a large circular plate in the ground, that opened to show a large, mostly white base. The helicopter landed and those figures took off their masks. I probably should have assumed it was Callie and Marie.
