The Collapse

Prologue

We didn't actually have a choice when we went next, as Alyssa didn't tell me until my head was better, but apparently another device went with us through the portal. I took it and after a while of trying to get it to work, I look at my traveller and notice a gap, just big enough for the piece to fit. I put it in and it showed me a map of all the dimensions, represented by blue and purple circles. Another thing that happened after my head got better is I went to a shop to get a ring. Me and Alyssa had been dating for over a year now, so I thought i'd propose for her soon. The ring was make of cold, with a small blue jewel in the middle, and a few patterns around the side. I just didn't know when to do it. didn't know when. That was, until I was looking at some of my artefacts when my traveller starts to beep repeatedly. I activate it and it showed one of the circles with something saying that 'they' would arrive in a few hours of that dimension. Judging by who 'they' were during our last trip, I knew that Alastor was not done. I tell Alyssa and Sydney to get ready to go to that dimension, and I also told Mizuta to come as well. After a while, everyone was here and ready. I put the box with the ring secretly in my bag, set the traveller up, and head in.

Chapter 1

As always, we arrived in Inkopolis, but this time, we were in the square instead of just on the outskirts. This time, the square was a lot larger, with a few more shops, and a fountain in the middle. It was the middle of the night, the sky looked normal instead of a dark purple colour, and one singular inkling stood looking into the water of the fountain. From a distance, we could see he was wearing an outfit similar to a suit, and a key card was on his waist. We thought it would be good if we could ask this guy if he could help, but before we did, I looked at him more carefully. His skin tone was a very slight shade of green, similar to Mizuta's but much less noticeable. He had a long metallic stick on his back, and his face and his arms were covered in scars. I stared at this man for a while, because I swear I knew this person, but from where. And then it hit me. About a year ago, we defeated a man called Scorpion, but before he died, he vanished in a bright green flash, and this where he must have went. I knew that, because he also had a thing on the other side of his waist, that looked the exact same as my traveller. I asked the other to go without me to ask him to help, I thought if he saw me, i'd be in for another fight.

Chapter 2

I sat down and opened my bag and had a look at that ring while I waited for the others to ask for help. While I had a look at it, I overheard Alyssa's conversation with Scorpion:

"Hey, I was hoping you could help us with something."

I put the ring back in the box, and then in the bag, and looked at them.

"Yeah sure, what can I help you wi-"

Alyssa then notice that he looked like Scorpion, and he notices that she looked like Alyssa, the one that almost killed him.

"Wait... I know you!"

Then, he grabbed the metal stick from his back and swung it at them, knocking all but Sydney to the ground. I notice this and run over to fight him back, but then he saw me. We were at a standstill, waiting for someone to do something. Eventually, he started speaking:

"Why are you here? Do you want to actually kill me?

"Scorpion, just calm down we need your hel-"

"I can't trust you after what you did. Now... you will pay."

Then he runs right at me and hits me with his stick. I fall to the ground for a moment, before getting up and going over to Sydney. "Ill fight him off while you go around and hit him from behind, then ill... convince him to help." Sydney ran off to find something as Scorpion came and swung at me. I blocked it and punched him in the chest, which didn't seem to do nothing. I threw another punch at him at his face, which again didn't do much. All i could do was keep blocking his punches, right up until Sydney did something. Then, she came with a chair and slammed it into his back, kneeling him on the ground. Then, I kicked him in the jaw, sending him onto his back and dropping the stick. I pick it up and point it at him. "Right... will you help us now?"
