Remus's POV

Today, Sirius and I were babysitting Harry and Cora since James and Lily were celebrating their anniversary. I had the whole day planned. First, we were gonna go to the park, then get ice cream, go back home and bake cupcakes, then settle down and play. I had been excited for this day for weeks! I love spending time with my little cub!

It was 11am and Sirius and I had just arrived at the Potters. James and Lily were starting their day with going to the funfair that was currently in town since Lily loved fairs. Sirius and I sat on the couch watching Harry and Cora play when James and Lily walked into the room.

"You sure you'll be okay with them both?" Lily asked, checking her makeup in the mirror.

Sirius chuckles.

"Of course we will! Right Remus?"

I nodded my head.

"Absolutely!"

Lily giggles and kisses Harry and Cora on their heads before turning to James.

"Ready, darling?" She asked.

James smiles and nods before looking at us.

"If there are any problems, let us know."

"Chill James," Sirius says. "There won't be any problems. Remus and I are professionals when it comes to babysitting the mini Potters."

James raises his eyebrow.

"Ok, so...you won't be nearly burning the house down this time?"

Sirius rolls his eyes.

"That was one time. Plus, it was Harry's fault."

"How was it Harry's fault?" Lily asked, giggling.

"Because, he kept trying to put flour in his mouth whilst I was trying to flip the pancakes. That's why the pan NEARLY set on fire, but Remus saved the day."

I chuckle.

"I sure did!"

James and Lily looked at each other and shook their heads.

"Alright. Whatever you say." James says, taking Lily's hand. "See you both later."

"Bye!" Sirius and I say.

When they left, Sirius and I looked at each other.

"So, what's first on our list, Remus?" He asked.

"The park! Kids love parks!"

Sirius nods.

"Okay! I'll grab their bags and make sure they have food and water, you get them ready."

I nod and he leaves the room whilst I grab their coats and put them on. I grab the stroller and place them in. Cora, who would much prefer me to carry her whines and reaches for me. I kiss her hands.

"You have to stay in here, darling."

She cries and kicks her legs in frustration.

"Ah, ah. Come on now. We don't want any tantrums." I say. "Here..." I reached for her stuffed wolf that was sat on the floor and gave it to her. She takes it and snuggles her face into it. I smile and stood up and Sirius came into the room, with a backpack on his back.

"Got drinks and snacks in here. We should be good for a while."

I nodded and pushed the stroller outside and Sirius locks the front door. We then start walking towards the park.
