Cora's POV

"Cora...what's going on?"

"Don't tell him..."

"Why did Dumbledore send you home?"

"You can handle this by yourself..."

"You haven't been yourself lately..."

"Why does he care?"

"Cora..."

I look up to see Remus and Sirius sitting there with worried looks on their faces.

"Hm?" I reply.

"Are you alright?" Sirius asks.

"I'm fine..." I say.

"Hey," Remus says. "Talk to us..."

"I ain't got nothing to talk to you about." I say.

They both look at each other before returning their gaze back to me.

"Can I go to bed now?" I ask. "I'm tired and I just want to sleep..."

Remus nods and swallows.

"Ok..."

I smile a little and stand up.

"Goodnight..."

I then make my way towards my room where I shut the door and lie down on my bed and pulled the covers to my face.

"It's too much..."

A few days before...

"Can anybody tell me what part of a Mandrake is potentially fatal?" Professor Sprout asked the class.

A few students raised their hands and Sprout looked around before picking a Hufflepuff student.

"Their scream, professor."

"Excellent, Miss Bell! "Sprout says. "Five points to Hufflepuff! Next question... What is the best way to extract juice from the Sopophorous Bean?"

Hands shot up in the air.

"Yes! Mr Willis?" Sprout says.

"You crush it, Professor!" A Ravenclaw boy answered.

"Well done! Five points to Ravenclaw!" Sprout says. "Last question...what plants helps you breath underwater?"

All of the classes hand shot up into the air. All apart from one.

"Let's see..." Sprout says. "Miss Potter? Could you answer this question? Considering your older brother is known to of taken this plant during the Triwizard Tournament."

Cora, who was in her own world, stared at the table, not knowing Professor Sprout had called on her.

"Miss Potter?" Sprout shouts out.

Otis, who was sitting beside her, gently nudges her which kicks Cora out of her daze.

"Hm, what?" She says.

Sprout smiles at her.

"What plant helps you breathe underwater?"

"O-oh, erm...Gillyweed, professor..." Cora replies almost in a whisper.

Sprout realises Cora wasn't her usual self, but nods.

"Well done, Miss Potter. Five points to Gryffindor. Now, I want you all to continue with your work from yesterday. If you have any problems, just raise your hand."
