Cora's POV

Christmas was approaching. Which meant I'll be spending the holidays at the Weasley's like I've always been since the death of my parents. Usually, I'm excited to be spending time with them, but, after breaking up with Fred, it was the last place I wanted to be. I didn't know how I would act around him when I returned. I just told myself to stay away from him whilst I'm there.

Anyway, it was our last day before we returned home tomorrow so we spent the day just spending time with each other. Holly and I were outside near the lake, staring off into the distance. It had been snowing so there was a few feet of snow on the ground which covered the entire grounds.

"How you feeling about seeing Fred again?" She asked me.

I shrugged my shoulders.

"I've tried not thinking about it to be honest. I feel sick thinking about it."

"I guess that's normal. You don't know how he would react when he sees you. You never know, he might've forgotten about it and act normal around you." She says.

"Not Fred...he really tried to persuade me to not end our relationship. He even sent me letters for the first two weeks when I had returned from the summer. Think he got the message that I really ended us when I didn't reply..." I reply.

She wraps her arm around me.

"Well, I'm sure everything will go back to normal soon."

I smile and lean my head on her shoulder. I then felt something hit my back. I turned round and saw Otis standing there.

"Hey!" He says, waving.

I stared at him.

"Did you just throw a snowball at me?" I asked.

He stutters and shuffles awkwardly.

"Otis Buttons...did you just throw a snowball at me?" I asked again, slowly kneeling down and grabbing a handful of snow.

He points at me and chuckles.

"Hey now...I-I didn't meant to hit youuu." He says.

I nod.

"Oh really?" I say, standing back up and looking at him.

"Cora..." he says, nervously.

I pull my arm back.

"Cora Potter." He says.

I then aim towards him and throw the snowball. He squeals and covers his face as the snowball hits his chest. Holly and I start laughing which attracts the attention of the other students who quickly realised what we were doing and starts grabbing snowballs of their own. In a space of 10 seconds, thousands of snowballs were being thrown through the air. I was currently throwing snowballs at a group of Slytherins when I felt a snowball hit the back of my neck, sending pieces of snow down my neck. I shiver from the coldness and look in the direction it came from. That's when I saw him.

Draco.

He was smirking. My lips curl up into a smile.

"I'm gonna get you back, Malfoy!" I say, grabbing a snowball.

"Come get me, Potter!" He replies, running off.

I ran after him and chased him through the court yard and into the corridors where I lost him. I looked around for him.

"Draccoooo?" I sing. "Where are youuuu?"

I then felt a pair of arms wrap around me from behind and spin me around. I laugh and try to throw the snowball at them, but I failed when it slipped from my hands and landed on the floor. They stopped spinning me and I turned to see Draco with that stupid smile on his face.
