Cora's POVShould I be excited? Or should I be nervous? I should be exited, right? I mean, it's just a date...with Fred...just the two of us...
Pull yourself together, Cora! You did accept it after all so you basically got yourself into this mess. You're a Potter! You defeated Voldemort so I'm sure you can get through a date.
I sighed to myself as I looked in the mirror at my outfit. Was a dress too much? Should I put jeans on instead? No...Fred loves seeing you in dresses. He'll love this outfit. You're thinking about it too much. Just calm down.
I take a deep breath and nodded.
"You can do this, Cora." I whisper to myself. "You can do this."
I made my way downstairs where I saw Tonks stood in the kitchen whilst Remus, Sirius and Harry were sat at the table. Remus looks up and smiles at me.
"Cora, you're looking extra pretty today." He says.
I smile.
"Thank you, Remus."
Sirius and Harry turned their heads towards me and Sirius raised his eyebrow.
"Where you off to?" He asked, drinking his coffee.
"Oh, I'm just spending the day with Fred." I reply.
This made Sirius almost spit out his coffee.
"Y-you mean like...like a date?"
I look at him and nod.
"Yeah?"
Sirius's head whipped towards Remus.
"Are you ok with this?!"
Remus looks at him with concern on his face.
"I mean...yes. Why wouldn't I be?"
Sirius shakes his head in disbelief.
"Remus! She's sixteen!"
Remus nods.
"Yeah, I know that."
"She shouldn't be dating anybody at her age. S-she should be...s-studying! Yes, studying! A-and...playing with dolls!"
Remus looks over at me with confusion written on his face. I held back a laugh as Sirius rubbed his face.
"Swear to god she was eleven yesterday."
Tonks walks over to him and rubs his back.
"Sirius, would you calm down? I'm sure Cora will be just fine. Try not to worry."
Sirius let's out a laugh.
"Worry? Why would I be worrying? I'm calm...caaalmmm!
He starts taking deep breaths and I grab my backpack from the couch.
"I-I should get going...Fred will be here soon so, I'll wait for him outside."
"Wait!" Sirius says, raising his hand. "I have a few rules set out for this date."
"Really Sirius?" I say.
"Don't worry," he says. ""they're not that extreme."
I fold my arms and look at him. He clears his throat and looks at me.
"They'll be no kissing, no hugging, no hand holding...his eyes better stay on your face...none of this touchy touchy..."
I saw Remus behind him roll his eyes and rub his head.
