I drew out a long sigh as I struggled to listen to a single word this weirdo from the military police was blabbering on about. He had been boasting about god knows what for the past half an hour.

If that wasn't annoying enough, I could feel someone else's stare from the side, why was everyone being so annoying? Out of frustration, I turned around to confront the asshole who I could feel staring at me.

But that was my mistake.

I was met with Captain Levi's stormy grey eyes boring into mine.

I gulped and swiftly turned back around to face the weirdo from mp again to hide my flustered expression.

But clearly luck wasn't on my side today, because the guy from mp took this the wrong way, assuming that I was flustered by him. Ew. Then he took the chance to lean in closer to me.

But before I could tell the guy to move back and give me some personal space, he moved back by himself with a horrified look on his face, and then saluted.

Saluted?

Wait why was he saluting? I'm not exactly of big authority. I was simply one of the captain's lieutenants. But I soon figured out what was going on when I felt a cold slender hand placed on my shoulder.

I turned around slowly

"Captain?"

Levi's face did not look so pleased. His usual handsome features were screwed into a displeased look, well.. more than it usually looks.

Levi ignored me and turned to the guy from mp, mouth tilting downwards into a frown.

"What business do you have with my lieutenant?"

I let out another gulp. Levi's emphasis on the word 'my' was starting to make me sweat.

And the guy who was oozing with confidence two minutes ago, now looked like he was about to shit his pants. To be honest, I would too if Captain Levi was glaring at me like that.

"Captain?" I called out again, timidly, not wanting to annoy him any further.

"You" he replied, not even meeting my gaze.

"My office, now"

Oh.

I slowly turned around and made my way to his office, my hands now sweating from the stress.
What did I do wrong?

Once I reached the office, I sat down on the sofa, and tried to make myself feel better by reminding myself that at least I'm not in that mp guy's position right now. He's probably getting his ass beat.

The thought of it made me stifle a laugh.

"Something funny lieutenant?"

I jumped as I turned around to see Levi standing right beside me with an unamused look. What wrong with him?

"N-nothing Captain!" I said as I attempted to stand up, but in the midst of getting up, he placed a hand on my chest and pushed me back down on the sofa.

He brought up his knee and placed it in between my legs, making me gasp at our very comprising position. Not that I was complaining.

"Captain are we about to-"

"Shut up"

"Ok :( "

He let out a frustrated sigh "Answer my question Y/N"

I stared at him blankly, he doesn't usually say my first name, I waited for him to elaborate. But instead, he grabbed my jaw, and angled it so I was looking up at him.

"You think making me jealous is funny?"

"What?! No! I- who said that? Who said thaaaat? Not me that's for sure!" I blabbered on in fear.

Why would he even think that? Jealous? Why was he jealous?

The thoughts made me embarrassed and I could feel my face burning as I desperately attempted to convince him that wasn't true.

He drew out another sigh, while pinching the bridge of his nose, clearly trying to hold back his frustration with me.

"You're so stupid sometimes y/n" he said as he crashed down next to me on the sofa.

"But I mean it Captain! I would never dare disrespect you like that! Bec-" 

But before I could finish my sentence, he crashed his lips onto mine with a bruising amount of pressure. I quickly pressed my lips back onto his too.

As we pulled away, I stared at him in shock, but all he did was huff out a laugh, as he looked at me.

"You're super stupid y/n" he added, mirroring my smile, as I leaned forward for another kiss.
