Chapter 5: Coming Home

~■Nightmare's PoV■~

"Also, why is there a bunch of goop all over you? And what happened to your usual purple clothing?"

Ink had tilted his head a bit to the right. Sure he couldn't feel curiosity but he still had his own questions.

"Uhm, hey Ink, I mean Scratch, have you talked to my brother recently?"

Ink seemed to perk up at my words. He stood up and went to my window

"You have a brother? Cool! May I meet him? Also, sorry for the questions but, why is everything dark there? I thought you usually hang out beside the Tree of Feelings."

Oh no. Its worst than I thought.

"Yea, uh, about that Inky, I have some.. friends I would like you to meet. Are you just in your AU?"

"Well, yea, I mean, I don't really go anywhere other than my AU and yours soo."

"Alright, I'll pick you up in a sec. See ya soon Inky."

He smiled, although I know without his emotions it was fake

"See ya soon Nighty."

I made the window disappear and opened an acual portal to Ink's old AU

When I got there I saw a few unfinished things. Damn creator... anyway I walked around a bit before I came to a stop to see a familiar skeleton

He didn't see me so I quickly amd quietly made the goop melt from a skeletal body and so I was just the way I was before the incident. I had learned how to do that a while back but had no reason to

I walked up to the skeleton and stood behind before putting both my hands around his eye sockets.

"Guess who."

He looked up toward me, without seeing ofc and cracked a small smile

"Hey Nighty. Ready for me to meet your friends?"

I took my hands(?) off of his eyes and helped him stand

"Yes, but first I would like to ask you something. Well, two somethings to be exact."

Ink managed to make himself look confused before nodding for me to continue

"Alright, first, I think I know how to give you emotions. And second... that can wait for another time. Its not exactly important at the moment."

He had widened his eyes a bit. It seems as though his emotions haven't been completely erased yet so that's good

"Really? How?"

I took one of his hands in mine and walked with him until we made it to what was supposed to be his AU's Waterfall. We walked a bit further until it was completely white except for a couple pools of color here and there. All colors of the rainbow

I unlocked my hand from his and teleported his sash into my hand. They were all empty, of course they had to be empty

"We just need to fill up a vial of each of these colors. Here, you go fill half up and I'll fill the other half."

I took half of the vials out of their little places and stuck them in my belt that had 'NM' engraved within it and gave the sash to Ink, to which he nodded and went to go fill them up. Me doing the same

°•Tem Skip•°

We finally were done filling the vials and had met back up

"Here, you'll need to drink a little bit of each. Make sure you dont drink to much of one vial though."

He had drunk an even amount of all and smiled brightly at him

"Awww does Nighty care about me?"

I'm pretty sure I blushed a shit ton and stammered a bit

"Ugh fine. I do care about you. I always have and ways will. Is that what you wanted to hear?"

~□Ink's PoV□~

After my old self had drunk the vials I was once more in control. I just hadn't told Night yet. What he doesn't know won't kill him right? Right

"Yep~ now let's go see those friends of ours!"

Oops, didn't mean to let that out. Welp maybe he won't notice

"Wait, 'ours'?"

"Erm, yea! Your friends and my soon-to-be friends!"

I sweat a little but it was barely noticeable. I kinda do want broomie back though... oh well hopefully I'll get him back later

"Right. Well, follow me, I guess."

He opened up a portal and stepped through, me following after of course. I think it was sweet of him to change from his goopy octopus hentai form to his old form just for me. Or rather, for past me

When I stepped through the portal I could see the worried, concerned, and shocked faces of my friends and fellow Star Sanses

Dream was the first to run up to me. He just HAD to be taller than me! Well, acually, everyone except Blue was taller than me... assholes...

Dream shook me out of my thoughts and I smiled up at him. Guess it was time to make my move

"Hi Dreamy!"

NootNoot looked at me surprised

"Wait wait wait, you mean to tell me you remembered, AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME?!"

I burst out laughing at this and hunched over before catching my breath. When I did finally catch my breath my brothers Reaper and Cross came and hugged me to death

"Whoever did this to you will P A Y."

It's official, i am now scared of what my brothers are capable of

"Relax, I'm here now right? Besides, I don't even remember who did it so I don't really think its worth beating ourselves up over."

That seemed to calm them down as they released me from the literal breath taking hug. Night came up to me in his goop form and before I knew it he was hugging me

"Didnt think I would get a hug from the o' mighty NootNoot."

I laughed a bit at the end as he just grumbled but didnt let go

"I ment what I said earlier Skittles."

And with that he let go and made a portal and walked through. Probably back to his room or something

"Ink! I'm so glad your back! What happened? Where were you? We searched everywhere!"

Oh no.

Dream was starting his lecture..

Hm.

Plan seems to be working correctly.

Let's see how long until they notice.

In the meantime, we can play a little game.....
