Jay sat at a throne in the middle of the battlefield, watching the knight's fights against knights, Mirai fighting off the archers, and the Baron sitting on his horse, looking at him in fear.
With the last man falling in blood,
Mirai dragged the Baron off his horse, drawing him to Jay's feet.
"Kill him," Jay said, looking at the Baron.
"Sire?" Mirai said in a shaky voice.
"Your Kindness will be your death, kill him or withdraw from the battlefield." His cold eyes stared at her.
Mirai stared at the Baron, who was begging for his life, closing her eyes - she slashed down the sword, but it stopped near his neck, red-black lightning flashed in the air.
When Mirai opened her eyes, the Baron was fine, which made her sigh in relief, "open your eyes and kill him. Watch him die."
Mirai's face was filled with sweat, "I...can't..."
With a snap of Jay's fingers, Baron's head burst apart, blood splashed over Mirai's face, "then you are useless on the battlefield."
He stood up, whispering in her ears, "like this...you can't kill me, and like always, you can't speak and just watch Youko getting manipulated by me. Soon, she'll forget you." He walked off the battlefield, leaving a stunned Mirai.
Standing in front of everyone, he said, "You were better than I thought. Good job. Tomorrow, we will move to another battlefield, soon the whole of the south will be ours!!"
"Yeah!!!!!!!!! Long Live the King!!!!!"
"Long Live the King!!!!"
"Long Live the King!!!!"
Once the cheering died down, a knight walked forward shame was all over his face, "Sire...I have let you down..." He held his shoulder - his arm had been separated, bleeding, "I won't be able to...fight for you... anymore..."
Jay stared at him with his red eyes, shimmering, "You make a mistake, my soldier."
Jay's hand raised in the air, red and black lightning appeared on his arm, his arm and all its pieces to the last of its cell came together and rebuilt it.
But it wasn't only him - all the Knights and Dames under the enemy command that weren't dead were healed, "without my permission, you can't die."
"A Miracle?!!"
"I am alive?!!"
"Lord is dead?!!"
While everyone was looking around in amazement,
Jay's eyes flashed as he spread his hand, "Your Lord is dead, follow me, and bring me more victories, and I will give you all the riches you could ever desire, a life you could only dream off!"
"Yes! Your Majesty!!" While his loyal knights shouted, feeling the adrenaline rush. The guards of this territory kneeled and submitted.
Avery smiled as she saw the scene - she walked towards the Baron's house, making Tasha ask where she was going, "Lord would be hungry, I'll see if Baron had something good."
The next few weeks went by, in taking down the Barons and the Viscounts, there wasn't much to find.
The Southern Lands didn't have much to offer - to begin with, Egerton was only rich because of Emily sleeping with the King.
Other than them, most of them were poor.
Jay sat on Viscount's seat, looking at the reports in his hand, "Hmm, Palmer seems to be rich."
