"Mirai!!!!" Youko jumped at Mirai, hugging her, a bit troubled.
"Youko..." Mirai whispered, wrapping her tanned hands around Youko.
"What happened, Mirai...you look...so different..." Youko whispered, hugging Mirai tighter.
"I begged...for power..." Mirai said with a content smile on her face, "Now...I can protect you...Youko."
"Stupid! You don't need to protect me - I can protect myself..." She hugged her more tightly, tears dripped from her eyes.
Mirai hugged her smiling, "this world is filled with Monsters..." Her eyes went towards Jay, who was watching the show(them) with interest. He smiled, waving at her, "Now...I have some ability to protect you..."
"What did you do to her?" Dame Gracia standing near Jay, asked, watching the girl who had changed beyond difference.
She was tanned, her body seemed even more carved than before, but it didn't lose its feminity.
Her breast had shrunk to size D.
From what Gracia saw, that was the body of a warrior that didn't lose any feminity.
"I brought out her potential, in return...she lost fifty years of her life."
"Fifty?!!" Dame Gracia shouted, attracting Youko's attention, while Mirai's body tensed up.
"What Fifty?" Youko asked, somehow...she knew what she needed to know this... she felt her heart thumbing, a pain rose in the chest.
"She sacrificed fifty years of life - to gain power - she has...um...ten years to live at best, after that her body would start giving in...slowly dying..." Jay told her without holding back.
"No..." Youko stepped back, her eyes shook, turning to Mirai. She clung to her, "tell me... tell me...it's not true?"
Mirai looked away, "Sorry..."
"No! It's not true...Mirai...Mirai..."
"Youko..." Mirai tried to hug her.
"No! It's not true!!!" Youko stepped back, tears filled her face, "I don't accept it!!! Give her back!!! Give her life back!!!!" She threw herself at Jay, holding the collar of his coat.
"I can't," Jay said.
"DON'T LIE TO ME!!!!! GIVE MIRAI BACK HER LIFE!!!!" All of a sudden, all the glasses in the room were cracked by a shockwave. A white fire came of Mirai - it decayed everything it touched in the air.
Gracia looked at the floor - if this continued, it would decay too. She took out her sword, but all of a sudden, Mirai appeared in front of her.
"I won't let you hurt her!" She blocked Gracia's attack, shocking Gracia to the core, "She is losing control!! She'll get us killed!!!"
Mirai glared at her, "I will protect Youko."
Suddenly, the atmosphere tensed up, but it didn't stay like that for long. The two at odds heard a burst of laughter - it was filled with happiness and joy of being right, "that's it!!!! I knew it!!!! hahahahahahahah!!!!"
There were waves of air that smashed their faces - it originated from the fire that trapped Jay.
The next moment, the fire disappeared, and Jay stood there, naked, with just a sword fallen near his legs. His one arm was raised in the air as if he just created those shockwaves by waving his arm.
His eyes were fixed on Youko, who herself was in a daze over what just happened. He raised Youko's head by her chin, "You are a great prize! This trip was worth it!"
