Ch. 23

James blinded by rage chased after his prey. Chris called out to his brother but James did not hear his voice. He followed the scent of the omega and found him in his line of sight. He was ready to attack.

"YOU!" James exclaimed.

Austin quickly turn and saw an enrage Alpha. Austin didn't know what to do. He froze where he stood. Their was a lot on his mind. First his shocking news and now this. Why can't life just leave him alone.

As Austin stood their, all he could see now is a blur of a body approaching with such speed. Austin thought maybe it wouldn't be so bad. Maybe this is what his story ends. Maybe it's suppose to be this way.

That way...the pain will go away.

*BAM!!*

The loud noise shook Austin awake. The Alpha was being pinned to the wall.

"LET ME GO!" James exclaimed.

"Fuck nah!!" Tom said. Austin looked at the pair. He wasn't sure what to make of it. "The hell you doing?! Get out of here!"

Austin looked at Tom. He looked down and saw his legs shaking in fear. Even though Tom saved him by the predator, he was already caught.

"I-I can't. H-h-he has me." Austin said. James alpha aura trapped Austin in his place. He can't go anywhere.

"LET GO!" James alpha aura became stronger. "I command you." Austin fell on his knees.

If he keeps up...he's going to force my heat...no. No! I don't want this! I love Chris! I don't want to be taken away like this....

"You! Thats enough!!" Tom exclaimed and headbutt James.

James alpha aura quickly went away. All he is doing now is feeling the immense pain on the back of his head. James didn't understand it. He's a beta. Why it didn't work on him? What is he??

James sniffed. James looked at Tom with no emotion. He wasn't sure why he didn't respond to his aura bit he found something else.

Tom pulled James collar. "Want to explain yourself, punk?"

"It doesn't concern you. Its family matter. Leave us be." James said.

"HUH!!??" Tom felt more annoyed. "How about I take you to the station? Maybe a night in the cells will make you talk!!"

"Wait!"

Tom looked over his shoulder and saw Chris. He was limping and pushed Tom away. Tom thought how weak his push was.

"Don't please. He's my brother." Chris said. Austin and Tom became surprised.

Tom looked at him and pointed to Austin. "He was about to assault Austin. Do you really want to protect him?"

Chris gasped. He looked at his brother, but he brother looked away.

Chris grabbed his shirt and shook him. "Why? Why do you want to hurt Austin?! He didn't do anything? Whats your reason?"

"My reason?" James snapped at his brother. "I have a reason! He got you knocked up! Your here because of him! And I'll do it again, and he'll regret the day he'd soil his seed into our family!!" Chris slapped James.

It was so load that nurse from the corner heard it. One of them called security. James became surprised. He gently touched his cheek and looked at his brother. As he did, his heart dropped. The one thing he noticed at the time is how similar his anger is to their father. James swallowed and looked down in defeat. He went to far.

Chris pushed James away. "Get out. Hurry up." James looked at his brother. "Go before they get here." James got up and left. Tom signed and decided to let him go. He let out a hand to Chris. But Chris attention moved straight to Austin.
