"Did you wash your hands?" The Chief asked his favorite granddaughter.

"Ah huh!" Abbygale replied with a smile. The Chief gave her a look that only she knows what it means. Abbygale smiled more, "Yes, sir!" She replied. The Chief smiled and gave her a plate.

Austin came next and the Chief ignored him. "Get your own plate." Austin gave a weak smile. Chris noticed that the Chief don't like Austin. At all. But tolerated his existence.

Chris was going to get his own plate but Austin gave him his. "Here." Chris felt embarrassed. "I'll also serve you too if you like?" Chris wants to refused but he knows Austin won't take no for an answer. So he let him.

Austin pulled a chair for him. Gave him a glass of water. Served his meal. Blow his food so its not too hot. "Say ah."

Chris yanked the spoon from Austin's hand. "I'M NOT THAT HELPLESS!" Chris yelled. Its sweet that he does this...but that's too much!!

Abbygale giggled. The Chief felt annoyed. Austin felt defeated and gave those puppy eye look. Chris blushed at the site. No! Don't fell for it! He knows what he did!

Chris ignored him and started eating his food. Tom walked in the dinning room. The room went silent. Tom grab himself a plate and place it next to his daughter. He kissed his daughter's head and sat next to her.

"Hi, sweetie. Did you sleep well?" Tom said kindly.

"Ah huh." Abbygale said. "Daddy?"

"Yes?" Tom replied.

"I love you." Abbygale said. Tom was about to cry but he hold it in. He hugged his daughter.

"I love you more." Tom whispered. Abbygale hugged her dad tight, finally able to feel relax and happy. Once their touchy reunion was over, they began to eat their meal. Tom and Abbygale had their father and daughter time during their meal. The Chief butted in the moment, ignoring his son's disapproval glare. Chris thought it was fun to watch them. It just made the room more lively.

Chris was enjoying his meal but felt something touch his hand. He looked up and noticed Austin hand. They both looked at eachother and smiled. Chris hold Austin's hand in replied to his affection and continued to eat. Its a bit cheesy holding hands while eating. But it felt great.

After the meal, they waited for Julie and Geana.

"It started to rain." The Chief said while lookingat the window. "Their could be huge storm coming."

"Do storms happen during the summer?" Chris asked.

"No." Chief said. "Best we be prepared for the worst." He walked out the room and gathered some things which was strange to Chris. Why does he need a beed necklace for?

"My old man gets superstitious about everything. He thinks it could be a bad omen or something. I would just let him be for now. Stay for the night for now. I'm going to prepare a room for you." Tom said.

Chris became worried for some odd reason. He wasn't sure why he felt scared. Austin came and hold Chris.

"Its ok." Austin said. Chris was surprised but felt relaxed.

"Thanks. I needed that." Chris said. Austin smiled. He hold onto Chris not letting go of him. Chris felt like he's being protected by the one he loves...love huh?...yes...that's what it is...

"I got the room ready." Tom said. It surprised the two. Tom smiled and knows what they were doing. "Hey now. Don't get all lovey dovey here. My old man doesn't like those who tainted his home with that. Oh and also the sex too."
