-Karl POV-

Today was the day we were leaving for Nick's surprise, I was nervous about where he was taking me but I was also really excited. We had all our stuff packed in the car and we were leaving at 12:00 in the afternoon. 

Yesterday he had proposed the idea and we were leaving today so that we could stay there until Sunday. 

We got in the car and he put his hand on my thigh like always. He started driving and I fell asleep, I didn't get much sleep last night because I was kept up all night on where we were going. 

-time skip to when their there-

(A/N: let's pretend it's actually hot out and like sunny and stuff okay great.)

I got out of the car and looked at the house we had just pulled up to, Nick had said this place was called Seabrook and that his rich grandpa had given him this house before he died, it was paid off and everything so it was just his house. He said he had been here a couple times but only for a day or two. 

The house was big, it had a wrap around porch and it looked to be two stories, there was a small gate that led to a small backyard which connected with the porch. On all the houses in the small neighborhood there was a sign with a tacky name on it, Nick's was called 'The Ocean Blue.' and the wood on the outside of the house was painted a light blue. 

"What the hell?" I said to him, going up to hug him. This place was fancy as fuck. "This place is nice." 

He smiled and grabbed my hand "Let's go inside." When he led me inside I was even more surprised, there was a modern kitchen with a island that had lemon yellow stools on the left side of the front door. To the right there was a booth type dining room and chairs and straight ahead there was a open living room, on the left near the island was a big glass door that led out to the backyard and near the living room there was another door that opened up to a small porch and some chairs, through the window you could see people walking outside and small trails that led into the forest. 

"What the actual fuck." I said as Nick led me upstairs, the stairs were carpeted and had a white railing. At the top of the stairs there was a big platform that led to four different rooms, three were bedrooms and one was a bathroom, Nick told me that there was also a bathroom downstairs it was just hidden in the wall. 

He showed me our room, which had its own bathroom in it and turned to face me. I was in complete shock, this place was so nice and it was all his. He giggled at my speechlessness and cupped my face, kissing me gently on the lips, I kissed him back and smiled into the kiss. 

"I- thank you, this place is amazing!" I said when he pulled back. 

"I love you." He said with a smirk. 

"I love you too, so damn much." I said while wrapping my arms around his torso. This boy was so perfect, there weren't words for how much I loved him.

We got all our stuff from the car and brought it back inside, "Wait, this place is yours? Like only yours?" I said, still in shock. 

"Yes." He said with a chuckle, kissing my forehead as he passed by me. 

When we were all settled in Nick sat down on the couch, I sat next to him and put my feet up on the couch, laying my head on his chest. 

He placed his hands on my hips and pulled me sideways onto his lap, I smiled and ran my fingers through his brown hair, looking into his coffee colored eyes. "I appreciate this a lot more than you think." I whispered to him, putting my arms around his torso and facing my head down.
