"Okay, but this is just a warning, we're going to be walking for a LONG ass time." He said to me, taking my arm and pulling me around like a kid.
In the first 40 minutes he showed me where that one news station films, central park, an ice skating rink which was closed, and the statue of liberty from far away. We were sitting in central park on a bench next to a kids playground right now, Karl had said his "social battery" was low.
He had his head on my chest and I was pretty sure he was sleeping, the boy was too precious for this world.
I looked around at all the kids, I didn't know what would happen in the future with Karl, but I definitely wanted to finished college first before doing anything to... much?
I scrolled through twitter until Karl woke up, I looked at the time on my phone, it was 11:53.
"Hi bub." I said to him as he stiffly moved around. "Are you feeling better?"
He looked me in the eyes and nodded. "I'm sorry." He said after a second, I could tell he felt bad but I honestly didn't care.
"It's okay. Like actually, I understand sometimes you need a break. And you weren't even asleep for that long." He gave me a thin lipped smile and got up again.
"Let's go back to times square, we need to eat soon before it gets busy."
I nodded and followed him, we got burgers and sat down in times square. "How do you like New York?" He asked me, turning so his body was only facing me.
"It's amazing." I said, pulling his body onto mine as he curled in a ball, putting his head on my chest. "I love you." Added quietly, running my ringed hand through his hair.
"I love you too." He replied, leaning up and kissing my nose softly.
