I'm too scared to try to lose the person who's following me. I quickly head towards the manor. I glance behind me. I'm still being followed! What should I do? It's the first time this has happened to me. It feels like I'm in a movie. I have to hurry, but my legs are shaking. Who would have any reason to follow me like this? What if it's one of the Descendants of the Templars sent to hunt me down? Or to follow me to the manor and eliminate the Bartholys? A figure suddenly appears before me, tall, dark hair, beautiful green eyes... It's Peter! He looks at me without saying a word and rushes towards my pursuer. With clenched jaw and steely eyes, his expression is cold and determined. He quickly approaches his prey. I follow him, not really knowing what to do. Now that Peter is here, I feel much better. Although his expression is terrifying, I know I have nothing to fear from him. With lightning speed, he grabs hold of the man in the shadows and shoves him violently against the wall. He seems to be making an extraordinary effort to maintain his human appearance. I peer around him to see who Peter is holding, and my jaw drops when I recognize the man who was following me. Loan!

Peter > We're done playing, Loan! What the hell's your problem?

He has the strapping quarterback pinned against the wall and is effortlessly holding him up off the ground with just one hand. Loan looks at him, cursing through clenched teeth. He's in a vulnerable position, and he doesn't like it.

Loan > Get your filthy hands off me, you monster!

Peter ignores his remark and nimbly dodges the punches Loan aims at him.

Peter > I'll let go once you answer me. Why were you following Lucy?

Loan > It's none of your business, ok?!

Peter > You're wrong, it definitely is my business.

He violently shoves Loan, whose head smacks against the brick wall. I don't want Peter to hurt him; that could get him in trouble.

> Peter, let him go. Violence won't get you anywhere...

Peter turns to me, visibly surprised by my remark. For a moment his eyes glow red. He gradually calms down and his eyes resume their normal colour. He ignores me.

Peter > Answer me, now! Why were you following her?

His voice is ice cold, as cold as the winter wind. Even if he's on my side, I can't help shivering. Usually, Peter is very calm and in full control of his emotions. This darker and more violent side of him fascinates me as much as it frightens me. The expression on Loan's face is one of disgust. I'm sure of one thing: he's convinced that Peter isn't human. I move closer to them. I want answers too. After all, I'm the main character here! With a determined stare, I fix my eyes on Loan. He turns his eyes away from Peter and stares at me for a moment, and I see a range of emotions in his eyes. Is he starting to doubt me, too?

> Loan, you really scared me! Please, answer Peter's question.

He seems sensitive to what I say, and doubt flickers in his blue eyes.

> Why were you following me?

He looks at me for a moment, without saying anything, before closing his eyes, as if giving in.

Loan > I followed you because I know you're hiding something. You seem to be the least dangerous of the bunch.

I look at him, surprised, perhaps even a little hurt. So I'm an easy prey, is that it?

> Why do you keep insisting, Loan? We haven't done anything wrong!

He doesn't appear to agree. Again, he looks at Peter, resentment filling his eyes.
