I've written fanfics before, but this one was a lot different than usual. it was longer, more complex, and more emotional for me than anything i've ever written. i started planning this back in february 2021 when i was grieving the loss of a close family member, but since then it's grown into something much bigger than i could have imagined.
i'd also like to give a shout-out to kneecaps_are_tastee for putting up with my 3 a.m. insanity when i texted them to scream about my newest idea for this fic. thanks erin, you're the best and i don't deserve you.
another shout-out to spotify stats for showing how many times i listened to fine line, falling, and out of my league while writing this. because of this book, falling is now stuck at the top of my spotify stats and there's literally nothing i can do about it. so that's great.
a final shout-out to you, dear reader, for sticking by my side. the past few years have been an emotional rollercoaster and there's no one else i'd rather give me reads. (ps if y'all wanna leave reviews here that I can put in the book description/cast that would be cool lolsies)
I don't think there'll be another part to this, because I literally cannot do this anymore! (: BUT the first few chapters of the sequel to this fic, called a note between us, are live!!! you can find it on my page if you're interested!!!. and i'm thinking about rewriting this??? i'm not sure yet, but i wrote most of this fic when i was 15/16 and think i could do this story better justice now at 19. but no promises.
