alivianewman obligatory closing night post last night was our last show in san antonio, tx, marking the end of the first leg of newsies on tour, the end of the most chaotic and amazing eight months of my life. these past 8 months have easily been one of the most incredible experiences I could ever dream of. I've met some of the most amazing and talented people I could imagine and learned so much from everyone around me. I traveled the country, met some of my best friends, and learned more about myself in a month than I did in the nineteen years before it. i found myself and lost myself and learned who i really am. there were definitely a few bumps in the road over the past 8 months, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. newsies has been one of the best experiences I could ever imagine, and I'm so eternally grateful that I got to be a part of it and spend it with a group of such kind and talented people. saying goodbye definitely won't be easy, but knowing I'll be back this september makes it a little easier. thanks for everything, tour. see you in four months. pc: @skyflaherty (Location: Home)
