Apprehension.
That's what I felt when I heard her hushed whisper. The same voice, the same feminine figure in red cloak that brought me to Dalisay was standing there, just a few meters away from where I was. No from where we were.
The sudden gust of wind made all the settled particles of dust and dirt to swirl around and dance in the air. Some of the people were rubbing their eyes while others were dusting off their clothes. Turning around my eyes fell on my dishevelled mates who were dusting off their clothes with visible pouts on their face. I internally cooed at their adorable antics and again turned to look in the ghostly figure of the female, hiding behind the bushes.
Suddenly the female started walking in the direction of the forest as my lost oceanic orbs kept looking at her disappearing figure with puzzled expressions.
"Follow me~"
Her honey like ghostly whisper fell into my ears making the hair on my body stand up straight. Another strong blow of wind and everything turned hazy. With squinted eyes and wobbly steps.
I somehow managed to follow the female.Cracking , rustling of leaves and the sound of my clumsy footsteps filled the deafening silence of the dark forest. The once red cloak of the ghostly female now turned black perfectly hiding in the blinding darkness of the surroundings.
Adrenaline rushed through my veins when we came across an entirely different part of this mysterious land. Trees taller than skyscrapers surrounded our small and perishable forms. The sky shimmered with countless celestial bodies, some small some big all floating in the endless ocean of air. My cerulean orbs shone with child like excitement upon seeing the tranquil and gorgeous night sky as a small smile found its way on my face.
