After chatting for some time, Xin Mei invited them all for dinner.

She was surprised when she saw Song Daiyu eating all the dishes with full gusto. She had seen her cringing when she saw the dishes with capsic.u.m but she ate them for Su Yuchen. She also praised Xin Mei for her culinary skills.

After having dinner, everyone again walked toward the living room and started to talk. Xin Mei glanced at Song Daiyu who was not ready to leave Su Yuchen.

"Chen, I think it's late. Daiyu must be tired due to her long journey. She should return to her home for rest." Xin Mei smiled and looked at Su Yuchen. Su Yuchen also nodded his head.

"You are right, Xiao Mei. I should leave now. I also have to search for a hotel where I can stay." Song Daiyu knowingly spoke hotel!

"What do you mean by searching for a hotel?"

Song Daiyu made a sad face and shrugged her shoulders. "Father forgot to ask the servants and house cleaners to get our house clean. So, for the time being, till his return, I need to stay at the hotel."

"So, how does that mean you will stay at a hotel?" Su Yuchen raised his brows and shook his head. "How can you stay at a hotel when you have your brother? You will be staying here with me and Xin Mei?"

"But I don't want to disturb you."

"You are not disturbing us. Su Zixin had already stayed here for many months, so it is not a big deal if my sister too stays here with me."

"Thank you, bro Chen, for letting me stay at your house."

"You don't need to thank me kiddo," Su Yuchen massaged her hairs and smiled at her.

Xin Mei smiled but from her heart, she was cursing this Song Daiyu who was now going to stay with them. She could understand the reason very well.

"Bro Chen, now that I am not leaving, let's talk for some more time." Song Daiyu held on his hand and smiled brightly. "Tell me something about your friends. How are they doing?"

Su Yuchen smiled and again he and Song Daiyu started to chat. Xin Mei looked at Su Yuchen with a slight pout.

"Chen, it's getting late. We should sleep now."

"You go up in our room and sleep. I am spending some more time in the company of Daiyu." Su Yuchen looked in the direction of Xin Mei and smiled at her.

Xin Mei huffed and looked at Su Zixin. He was ready to leave for his mansion. But she held on his collar and pulled him upstairs with herself.

"Hey, what are you doing?"

"Taking you upstairs."

Xin Mei and Su Zixin arrived upstairs and to their seats behind the rails. They started to spy on Song Daiyu and Su Yuchen who were talking animatedly.

"So, do you believe that Song Daiyu has something for brother? Because she is so smart that no one usually believes me."

"I believe you. I have caught her glaring at me." Xin Mei turned and smiled at Su Zixin. "I must praise her thou, with her good act, no one can say that she loves Su Yuchen. It seems as if she treats him as her brother."

"That's the biggest mistake. By acting as his sister, she is trying to be close to him. She gets to touch him, talk with him which she can't do after confessing her love."

Xin Mei nodded her head and again looked at Song Daiyu and Su Yuchen. 

Feeling tired of watching them, she returned to her room and sent Su Zixin to his mansion. She knew she had to ready herself to beat this over smart love rival.
