Su Yuchen smiled and looked at Xin Mei who was sleeping calmly on his car seat. He could see she was very tired.

"Happy anniversary love." He spoke softly and kissed on her forehead.

He was feeling happy and light at his heart now that he had introduced Xin Mei to his birth mother. He was also happy that she did not ask him much because he was not ready to open up completely.

Some wounds were good if they were kept close.

'Boss everything is ready.'

Su Yuchen smiled when he received the message from Huang Chu. Today was their anniversary, so how was he not to give his wife a surprise?

Su Yuchen had planned to take Xin Mei on a vacation to Paris. He knew they may not get time for vacation again, if he did not take her there today. Besides, Paris was the city of love and he wanted to shower his love at her.

Su Yuchen stepped out of his car. He made his way toward the door of Xin Mei's side. He opened it and carried Xin Mei in his arms. He smiled when he saw Xin Mei sleeping so peacefully.

He loved it that when Xin Mei was tired, she would sleep heavily. She would forget about the world around her.

Su Yuchen with Xin Mei in his arms made his way towards the already awaiting jet. He entered the jet and nodded to Huang Chu. 

He made his way towards the private room and made Xin Mei comfortable on the bed. He walked out of the private room to check on the final preparations.

The next day, when Xin Mei woke up, she found herself in a complete strange room. She frowned and looked around the room.

Many thoughts ran in her mind on getting wakeup in an unfamiliar room. The first thought was,

'Am I kidnapped?'

She again looked around with worry and nervousness. She was about to leave the bed when Su Yuchen entered the room with a small cake in his hand.

"Chen, where are we?" Xin Mei asked him.

Su Yuchen smiled and without any reply walked towards her. He took his seat beside her and placed the cake in front of her.

"Don't ignore me and tell me, where have you brought me?"

"We are in Paris, to celebrate our anniversary."

Eyes of Xin Mei went wide when she heard him. What was she doing here in Paris? He could not bring her to Paris, without her knowledge, within one night, could he?

"You are kidding right?" shock was filled in her voice.

"I am not kidding. We are in Paris." Su Yuchen looked at her with eyes filled with innocence.

Xin Mei still could not believe him. She jumped off the bed and walked towards the window. She removed the dr.a.p.es and a gasp left from her lips when she got a glimpse of Eiffel tower from her window.

'This man! No one could compete with him in giving mind-blowing surprises to her.'

Su Yuchen smirked when he saw the shocking expression on the face of Xin Mei. He loved this expression on her face. He walked towards her, the cake was still in his hand.

"Happy anniversary, Mei. Shall we cut the cake now?"

"You…" Xin Mei felt the loss of words when she looked at him. He knew how to give her a surprise.

It was a time when Xin Mei thought she would spend her anniversary in Paris with love of her life, it was a thought which had soon disappeared from her mind.
