Promotion of Revenge was going on at a very large level. Every song of the movie was released at a large level after creating curiosity among the citizens.

One day, Xin Mei was out with her team, preparing for an interview when she received a call from TingTing.

"Xin Mei, I have sent you a link on your messenger. Check that link." Voice of TingTing was full of excitement and surprise.

"What happened TingTing? You are sounding very happy today." Xin Mei asked with curiosity.

"You just open the link and you will know everything." And with that, TingTing cut the call.

Xin Mei quickly opened the link and a surprise filled gasp escaped from her mouth. There on her mobile screen was a fan-made poll. The poll was about the best actor and best actress in the cast of Revenge.

In the poll, fans had voted for their favourite, the one whose role they liked the most in the trailer of the movie. Such polls were usually made by famous blog pages which had many fans following them.

In the best actor poll, the competition between Tang Min and Chen Bai was very stiff with Chen Bai leading with a total of 41 % votes and Tang Min was closely following behind with 40% votes. Other cast actors also had some votes on their names. 

What shocked her was the voting for the best actress. Xin Mei was leading with 45% and the shocking news was that, Zhou Mingyu only had 9% votes on her name. Many other small and C grade actress were giving here stiff competition.

Xin Mei could not believe her eyes when she saw the status of the poll. She did not think fans of Zhou Mingyu would leave her support so quickly.

Slowly, a large smile appeared on the lips of Xin Mei. She felt as if she had again crossed a level and was very close to snatching everything from Zhou Mingyu, her fame had already reduced to half.

Citizens could vote on the poll for one week. The results of who was the best actor and best actress as per the public opinion were to be announced after a week only. 

For one week, Xin Mei kept feeling nervous. She felt as if the poll was not fan-made voting but voting for the national level best actress award. During the night, she thought her votes would decrease and Zhou Mingyu would surpass her with an increase in her votes. She could not sleep easily during the nights.

From time to time, she refreshed the page to keep an eye on the result.

"Mei, why are you so concerned about this fan-made poll?" Su Yuchen chided her. "You should focus more on the assignment which is organized for you by TingTing and on promoting the Revenge. Zhou Mingyu and you have a huge difference in between your votes. I don't think she will be able to defeat you."

When the results were declared, they were not surprising for Chen Bai and others but they were very surprising for Xin Mei.

Su Zixin had won the best actor from public opinion with 46% votes and Tang Min had 43% votes where in the best actress public category, Xin Mei won with 49% votes where Zhou Mingyu only had 5% votes. Three other female casts were leading her with 7% votes.

"Told you, we both will win in the best actor and actress category." Su Zixin chuckled and looked at his tab. "I cannot believe so many citizens took this fan-made poll so seriously. Nearly one million people signed for it. Geez, such a big figure."

Su Zixin scrolled through his tab and showed some posts to Xin Mei regarding the 'Revenge.' Xin Mei was again surprised to see most of the articles were discussing her, Chen Bai, and Tang Min. There was no or negligible name of Zhou Mingyu.
