Xin Mei stepped out from the cabin of Su Yuchen and reached the parking. Her mood was slightly off because she did not get to meet Su Yuchen. She had made his favourite in lunch.
Xin Mei made her way towards the parking when she received a call from He Lin.
"Xiao Mei, are you free today?"
"I am free mother, why? Something happened?"
"No, nothing happened. Today is the engagement party of my friend's daughter and I want to tag you along with myself."
"Why me mother?" Xin Mei groaned. She did not like to tag with her mother whenever she visited any party thrown by her friend.
"Why not you?" He Lin chided. "My daughter has become so famous and I want to brag about her. I want to close the mouth of my arrogant friends with your presence. Let me show off your talent."
Xin Mei groaned aloud. She knew this was going to happen once she become famous.
"Ok mother, at what time should I pick you up?"
"Ahh, my sweet daughter. I know you will not upset me." He Lin grinned. "Come home by six in the evening. The hotel is quite far from home."
"Ok."
"And yes, don't forget to wear a gown and some expensive jewellery. I have to show you off at last."
"Ok mother."
Xin Mei ended the call and released a deep breath from her mouth. She looked at the sky with irritation. She did not want to go to any party.

Xin Mei got ready for the party. Once ready, in a fancy car, she made her way towards her mother's house. There she picked up He Lin who was already waiting for her.
"You are looking very good today." He Lin praised Xin Mei and told her the name of the hotel.
"I have to look beautiful. Otherwise, I know that you would have made me change my dress, forgetting about the party."
"You know me so well." He Lin grinned and at the same time, she sent a message to Su Yuchen, telling him that they were on the way.
"We are here, mother." Xin Mei informed to He Lin who was lost in her mobile from so long.
"Ok." Lin grinned and stepped out of the car.
Xin Mei parked the car and followed He Lin.
"Mother, why are you smiling so brightly today? It's as if it is an engagement party of your daughter, not your friend's daughter." Xin Mei joked and rolled her eyes.
He Lin was feeling very happy because it was the first success party of Xin Mei. She was happy for her daughter who had a man like Su Yuchen. He was ready to spend his money like water for her.

Xin Mei frowned and looked at her mother before entering the ballroom. Her eyes went wide when she saw huge posters all around the wall with her photos.
Her favourite flowers which were decorated on the wall, her favourite music which was playing in the background, her favourite fragrance lingered around in the air and her family and friends were all present in the ballroom.
"What is it?" she looked at her mother with surprise in her eyes.
"A surprise party thrown for you by Su Yuchen," He Lin whispered in her ears and soon enough, everyone started to come and congratulate her.
Her team of 'The flying women' also came and wished her good lucks. They were also excited about this party. It was also for their success.
"Congratulations, Xiao Mei." Su Zixin wished her.
