I was thinking over
Whether I should be thinking or not
Overthinking over a single thought
Realizing I need to stop
Overthinking on all the ways I could stop
I was looking for a
Hiding place
A place that I could go to
When I'm afraid
It's an offense I'm willing to take
A decision I'm willing to make
A heart I'm willing to break-
There are times I'll make
You think I'm strong,
there are times I'll make
You think I'm not
There are so many things
that felt good in the moment
But I've come
to regret them later.
So now I'm looking for
A hiding place
A place that I can go to
When my thoughts are more
Than I can take
Burn down my brain
It's in overdrive
Because I was thinking over
Whether I should be thinking or not
Overthinking over a single thought
Realizing I need to stop
Overthinking on all the ways I could stop
Just make it stop
Burn it down, maybe then
It'll stop.
It's an offense I'm willing to take
