"Jules" a voice says making me pop my head up. I look up and my eyes meet Luke's. I jump up and over to him.
"Julie wait" He says making me stop right infront of him.
"Luke, your back"
"No I'm not Jules. I can't stay" He says, lifting my chin up to look at him. "I just wanted to tell you Jules, I love you and I'll always love you" he says brushing his hand against my cheek. My eyes fill with tears.
"There's gotta be a way to keep you here Luke" I cry. He grabs both of my hands.
"I wish there was, but I can't let you get hurt. I'll miss you everyday Jules but please tell me that you'll move on" He ask, I can't promise that.
"I can't promise that Luke, I- I love you"
"That why you have to promise me please Julie, do it for me" He says. I lean up and pull him down, kissing him. We pull away, both of us crying and I nod my head slowly.
"I will, I will Luke. I love you so much. Your my soulmate" I whisper in his ear, he wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me tighter to him.
"Then we'll find our way back to each other Jules" he gives me one kiss before disappearing. I wipe my tears away and stare at the point where he was.
"Julie" Alex says and I launch into his arms.
"Lex" I say as he hugs me back. I tuck my head under his and then pull away.
"Your leaving me too?" I ask, looking up at him and stepping away.
"Yeah, we have too Julie. We have to keep you safe. At least we get to say goodbye. You'll never know how much I love you, your the best friend I've ever had" He says looking down. I know he means it too, Alex isn't the best at expressing his feelings like that.
"Your my best friend too Lex, you always will be" I say, walking back to him and hugging him. I pull back and stand looking at him.
"Bye Lex, I'll see you soon. I promise I will" I say. He gives me a 'what are you doing' look before he disappears.
Luke's POV:
I sit in a corner, remembering everything that I'll never have again. Thinking about Julie.
Alex poofs back in and looks at me, a look of compassion on his face. He doesn't say anything, he just sits down beside me.
"I'm gonna miss her so much bro" I say staring at my hands.
"Me too, but I think she's planning something"
"What?"
"She said 'I'll see you soon, I promise I will' if I know Julie well enough, she's up to something"
"Shit, I didn't what this to happen" I say standing up.
"You think she'll be okay?" Alex ask standing beside me.
"She's strong, I'm sure she will"
Julie's POV:
"Julie Molina, what a sight" Reggie says making me look up.
"Reg" I smile, hugging him tightly.
"I don't have much time, we have another show but just promise me. When you see pizza, think of me?" He ask in a cheery voice.
"I promise I will Reg" I say with a smile, I feel tears run down my face.
"Hey hey don't cry, maybe you'll see us in another life" He smiles "we just wanna protect you Julie"
"I know y'all do, I love you Reg"
"I love you too Julie, your the best little sister. Give Carlos and Ray a hug from me"
"For sure" I say and with that, he's gone too. I decide to take a walk. I walk along the beach for a while then to a pizza place. I have lunch there
In the pizza place
"Just a slice of pepperoni please" I say. I pay and they hand me my pizza. I walk outside to the table where me and the guys once sat.
Flashback
"Julieeeee" Reggie whines at me.
"Dude, she paid she gets the last piece" Alex laughs, taking a sip of his drink.
"Reg, you can have it" I smile. His eyes light up like a kid on Christmas.
"Really?" He ask and I nod. He grabs it and shoves part of it in his mouth. I giggle watching him and I feel my phone buzz in my pocket. It's Luke
I squeeze my eyes shut and wipe away that memory. I decide to text my dad and Flynn, letting them know I'm okay. I stare at my phone for a moment until I hear someone clear their throat. I look up and see Carrie. This is perfect
"Carrie?" I spit angrily. She sighs and sits down. I look at her like really look at her and she has bruises on her face.
"Car, are you okay?" I ask, motioning to her face.
"Yeah I- umm got into a fight" She says, staring at the table.
"Why are you here?" I say turning to her and crossing my arms.
"I'm sorry Julie, I'm so sorry. I was jealous, god I was jealous" She says meeting my eyes.
"Jealous? Of me?"
"No jealous of your friends, I just really missed my best friend"
"I missed you too car" Maybe I'm letting her back in too quick or maybe I'm just trying to get what I need. Either way, I'm gonna get the guys back.
"Really?" She ask, smiling slightly. I nod and hug her. I let go.
"Now Car, what happened to you?"
"I broke up with Bobby and he didn't take it well"
"He hit you" I say now pissed. Hell no
"No, god no. He would never. He punched the wall, it was out of anger and it made of the photo frame fall. It hit me right in the eye"
"Oh"
"He feels horrible and I do too, cause I don't have a very good reason for breaking up with him"
"Well you can tell me all about it later, let's go hang?"
"I would really that Julie" she says smiling at me. Something about the way she looks at me, it's almost like the way Luke looked at me.
That word runs through my brain, looked
God, why does it have to be this way? Can't the world ever be simple!
