3rd Person POV

It was the night after Gryffindor's victory against Slytherin in the 1977 quidditch finals and there was a party going on in the Gryffindor common room. It was a few hours after the festivities began and everyone had ingested a large quantity of alcohol. Sitting on the couch was the marauders, Marlene, Mary, and Lily.

Instead of paying attention to James' flirting with the red-head Remus had taken to thinking about the sight he had witnessed earlier this morning. All day he had pushed it out of his mind as to not mess up the boys' quidditch match, but since it was over he had no reason to not bring it up.

As the boy was thinking about this, his boyfriend looks over and notices the furrow in his brow and tears welling in his eyes. "Are you alright Moons?" Sirius asked, concerned, causing the rest of the group to look at the scene unfolding before them, not that the two boys noticed.

Instead of answering, Remus just nodded his head, thought no one believed him. When he noticed this he sighed, "Not right now."

Sirius then turns his entire body toward the werewolf and covers his hands with his own, "It's clearly bothering you, so it can't."

Due to the alcohol coursing through his veins he didn't quite think about what he was saying and just let the words flow out of him. "You know, you said you loved me. You're a liar, 'cause you never ever ever did baby."

"What are you talking about?" Sirius asks, trying to ignore the fact that every single person in the room was staring at them.

"Cut the bullshit Black, you know exactly what I'm talking about." Remus says, trying not the yell at him. "If you're gonna cheat on someone you should at least have the curtesy to admit you did it when they confront you about it."

Sirius decides to ignore the noises that came from around the room. "I genuinely have no idea what you are talking about," he says, utterly confused. "I didn't cheat on you."

"Seriously, I saw you with McKinnon this morning," the werewolf says, his already large amount of annoyance growing.

"What? I was training with James all morning, right Prongs?"

"Yeah," James says, not entirely sure what to do in this situation. He knew that he was with Sirius all morning and he didn't cheat, but he also did not want to be on the receiving end of Remus' fury.

"Don't lie for him."

"He's not," Sirius defends, trying to diffuse the situation as Remus look like he was about to burst into both flames and tears. "We can even ask Marlene." The boy then turns to look at the girl in question. "Marls, darling, were you and I hooking up this morning?"

"Obviously not."

"Have we done anything since Remus and I started dating?"

"Absolutely not, you would never cheat on him."

"Thank you," he turns back to his boyfriend warily. "See love? I didn't cheat on you.

Remus, who look significantly better answered, trying to hid the embarrassment flushing his cheeks. "Oh, um, I'm sorry. Like really sorry, really really sorry-"

"Stop, it's fine. Though I would appreciate if next time there is something wrong you just come and talk to me instead of telling the entire house that I cheated on you."

"Noted."

"I don't know about you all," Sirius says, standing up from his spot on the couch. "But I need a fag."

Wanting to make sure everything was okay Remus follows him up to the marauders' shared dorm. When they enter, the two boys walk over to the nook and open the window to let out the smoke. Lighting his cigarette, Sirius lays his head on the wall, offering the box to Remus, who declines. The amber-eyed boy then reaches over and tucks a stray hair behind his boyfriend's ear.

Sirius then grabs Remus's wrist and kissed the soft skin, whispering "I would never cheat on you, you know."

"Yeah, I'm sorry." Wanting to be as close to him as possible, he repositions himself so he is sitting directly in front on him, head resting on Sirius' chest. The boy happily reciprocates his affection, wrapping one arm around him, while moving his cigarette holding hand away from him.

"Why did you think it was me anyway?" he asks, before taking another drag.

"I saw the hair, I guess my brain just kinda jumped to conclusions."

The long-haired boy just laughs at this, "Yeah, no kidding."

"I'm so sorry."

"You said that already, no need to say it again."

"I love you so much Pads."

He smiles gently, placing a soft kiss on the werewolf's head. "I love you too idiot."

"How can I make it up to you," he asks, looking up at him.

He grabs his chin and kisses him passionately. "I can think of a few ways."
