hiiiii!!! so happy you're here!!

this is my take on a rockstarry fic. it's mainly hs1 era but kind of seeps into different eras at some points...i first came up with the idea for this story back in march of 2021, reworked a few things a year later and now here i am again in october of 2024 doing some more writing and editing! if you're a rereader, hiii welcome back and i hope you like the little revamp she got! if you're new, thank you for giving my story a chance, i hope you enjoy!

this was the first ever fic i wrote, so it's definitely quite cheesy here and there and has many of the iconic fanfic tropes (but that's okay we love her still). regardless, i put my heart and soul into all of these chapters! i am a veryyyyy detail oriented person, so everything in this book probably means something.

i grew up listening to classic rock so this book has a special place in my heart! the title Hysteria is based off of the Def Leppard song/album, they're probably my favorite classic rock band and inspired most of this story. this fic is separated into four parts: Pyromania, Adrenalize, Euphoria, and Hysteria. each of these parts correspond to a Def Leppard album (so cool, i know), and there are soooo many easter eggs in all of the chapter song lyrics... even random songs mentioned in some of the chapters are likely foreshadowing something! at the beginning of each chapter, i attached the song that corresponds with the title for a quick and easy listen (not required, but adds to the experience), as well as a few lyrics that i picked out of the song that stood out to me most for that chapter. and remember, this book is called Hysteria for a reason. take that as you will.

think of it like mamma mia... they compiled a bunch of iconic ABBA songs and made a movie out of them! this book is just like that but instead of ABBA it's a variety of classic rock and each chapter has their own song, and each part has their own album.

it takes place in Nashville, Tennessee, and while i'm not from there, i have traveled there many times so i have some prior knowledge! however, some details are glorified and i'm not sure if there's a huge classic rock scene there like i describe in the first few chapters (def country and maybe more southern rock), but this book is fiction so i make the rules!!

this story does deal with some extremely heavy topics, and they will be mentioned in just about every chapter of this book, so pleaseee keep that in mind if you are sensitive to any of the triggering topics. this is your first and only warning: this book will contain sensitive content such as drug and alcohol usage, violence, mentions of death, SA, toxic relationships, emotional, mental, physical abuse, body shaming, slut shaming, cheating, sexual comments and actions. this book is labeled as mature, so like i said previously, it will contain these themes regularly... like every chapter in some way or another. so if you're super sensitive to any of these topics, please be wary if you do decide to continue.

this is a very very very smut heavy book. consensual sexual content includes (but is not limited to): degradation, slapping, spanking, hair pulling, squirting, edging, threesomes, anal, masturbation, spitting, choking, teasing, pegging, public sex, sex tapes, sex toys, cheating. things may be added as chapters get published, but i believe this is most of it!

i said this already and it's definitely a given but this book is fiction! this is just me writing a little rockstar harry fic and having an excuse to listen to some good ass music and write some drama along with it :)

enough of me, let's meet our characters!! they are strictly face-claims, in no way am i relating them to who they actually are, they're basically just a bunch of hot faces and personalities that i made up!
