While they were eating, Lindsey made sure that Freya understood that she wasn't to act out for mom when dad left and reluctantly Freya agreed and then they wandered around the gym looking at the things up for purchase. Stevie promised to get her something and she ended up with a couple of books from the book fair and some caramel corn and then Freya picked out some hair clips that someone homemade. But right now she was playing a little fishing game with their last ticket and Stevie felt a hand on her shoulder and she turned around to see her boss.

"Rebecca, Hi. Is your shift up?" She questions.

"No, I'm there for the duration but we're taking turns walking around and buying stuff. Your husband is wow." She shakes her head.

"I know..." Stevie smiles.

"Honestly I'm jealous. I love Mike but he's certainly not as good looking as your husband. The curls, I think it's the curls that do it." Rebecca shakes her head.

"Oh I know, his curls are my favorite. I'm so glad she got them. But I didn't like him when we were first chosen for the Lotto." Stevie shakes her head.

"You're kidding?" She gasps.

"I am not...I wasn't a big fan of the Lotto, I'm still not a big fan of the lotto and I hope that it's abolished by the time that she's of age because I don't want to put her through that. I was of the mind that we should be able to marry who we want not who was chosen by a government official. I didn't like him because he was younger than me. There's a good few months were I'm two years older than he is and it felt wrong our union felt forced but once we got married and we got settled into our house I did fall in love with him and he gave me the greatest gift." Stevie shakes her head a small smile playing on her face as she looks at Freya.

"She's a sweet little girl." Rebecca smiles.

"She's everything to me Rebecca."

"The day you went into labor you were so scared." She recalls.

"I wasn't ready for her. We would've waited much longer if there wasn't that tax looming over our heads especially being on one income.  Lindsey and I have been married for four years. Four years and when I got pregnant we had only been married six months and we were NOT  ready for her but there she was.  And  God Beck, she's the best thing I could've ever asked for." Stevie explains.

"Mama, Mama, Mama, I won I won I won." She runs right over to Stevie who drops to the floor and takes her into her arms. Freya was showing off a little stuffed monkey that she had won.

"Good job baby." Stevie hugs her and stands up with her in her arms.

"You should bring her around the school more." Rebecca shrugs.

"Should I, what would I do with her?" Stevie asks.

"Well I mean not while you're working but to the art show at the end of the year, the spring concerts, the fall festival. I know you said she was too little but a lot of staff bring their baby-babies."

"I honestly never thought about it." Stevie shakes her head.

"Think about it. Alright you girls have a great weekend and enjoy your spring break." Rebecca grins.

"You too." Stevie waves.

"Well Munchkin, are you ready to go to the grocery store?" Stevie asks.

"Mama, fun."

"What?" Stevie asks.

"Had fun."

"I'm so glad you had fun." Stevie holds her tightly and kisses her cheek.

"But wanna walk."

"Fine. you can walk." Stevie sighs setting her down on the ground and holding her hand out for her to take.

As they're walking out of the school a little boy launches himself at Stevie. It takes her a moment to gather her bearings but she does and she realizes that it's one of her students.

"Reed, how are you?" She asks.

"G-Good. I-I-I'm d-doing my practi--practices." He stutters.

"Good job I'm so proud of you. Now you keep it up all on spring break and when we come back to school you can show me how good you're getting." Stevie squeezes him tightly and Freya doesn't like it. She doesn't like that her mother was hugging a little boy so she broke them up, getting under her mom's arms, as Stevie had gotten down into a squat, and wrapping around her mother's neck.

"Freya what are you doing?" Stevie asks pulling away from Reed.

"Mama." She states.

"What?" Stevie asks.

"Mama," She repeats.

"I'm sorry Reed, this is my little girl Freya, Freya this is one of my students." Stevie explains.

"Mama."

"She's cute M--Mi..Mrs B."

"Thank you, I think your mom is waiting for you though." She points to his mother.

"B-bye, M-mi..Mrs. B."

"Bye kiddo."

"Freya what was that about."

"You my mama."

"Yes. I am your momma, but I was just saying hi to one of my students." She shakes her head.

"Mama only hug me." She states.

Stevie just smiled and stood up her daughter wrapping around her like a sloth and Stevie sighed before pressing out to her car. As she was driving to the grocery store she smiled. Freya had never been like that with her. EVER and she loved every moment of it. She didn't like that her little girl was jealous but she liked that she had practically latched herself to her all day. She didn't understand it but she wasn't going to question it either.

When they got home Lindsey was doing the dishes and Freya went to play in the living room and Stevie wrapped her arms around his waist pressing her cheek into his back.

"I think I just had the best day with her. One of my students hugged us as we were going to leave and she freaked out because she didn't want anyone else touching me." Stevie explains.

"See, you're her mom," Lindsey smirks as she pulls off of him to start working on the potato salad.

"What does that mean?"

"It means that she loves you and she wants you all to herself."

"She doesn't show it that often." She shakes her head.

"No, she doesn't but I think if there are more days like today things'll get better. You'll have all week with her, I'm painting and plastering 8-3 every day next week." Lindsey leans over and kisses her.

"What do you say after we put her to bed we have a replay of last night?" She smirks.

"Are you sure you don't want another baby?" He asks.

"I've tracked my cycle since she was born. I shouldn't be overly fertile for a couple of weeks." She shakes her head.

"So why did you start tracking them after she was born?" Lindsey asks.

"So we didn't have another," She smiles.

"But the first time we've had sex in like years was last night."

"I always held out hope Lindsey." She sighs.

"You know you could've initiated it at some point." He chuckles.

"But I wanted you too." She challenges. Lindsey just laughs and swoops down planting a kiss onto her lips.
