June 5, 1982
Stevie was thirty weeks pregnant, and she was starting to nest and she was starting to nest simply because she could. School had let out at the end of May, but now the teachers were out for the summer as of June 4th at noon, due to an administration change so Stevie had no commitments what so ever, and when she woke up to Lindsey's alarm with him she turned her head and gave him a wicked smile.
"What?" He groans before kissing her and climbing out of bed to get into the shower.
"I'm thirty weeks Lindsey..." She smiles.
"Not until tomorrow." He shakes his head.
"I'm thirty weeks. And we don't even have a nursery set up." Stevie explains.
"Stevie the baby isn't going to even be sleeping in the nursery until they're six months old. We don't need a nursery right now." Lindsey sighs.
"Lindsey...I WANT A Nursery. You stole designing a nursery from me when we had Freya and I want to design a nursery." She states firmly.
"Stevie you didn't want any part of it." Lindsey sighs.
"How do you know that, you never asked me. it hurt when I walked upstairs and saw that you and your mom had designed a nursery without me."
"Why didn't you say something then Steph?" He sighs sitting back on the bed and grabbing her hand.
"Because I said everything was your decision." She looks down sadly.
"Alright I'll tell you what, You and Freya go out and pick out some paint, some furniture and whatever else you need to for Luna and I'll paint tomorrow and I'll set everything up on Wednesday that's my second day off this week." Lindsey explains.
"Don't you want to be there with us?" Stevie asks.
"As much as I do, I have to go to work...and you said it yourself, I designed Freya's nursery I'll let you have this one. But I've gotta hop in the shower, did you cash the check my mom sent?" Lindsey kisses her forehead.
"I did and honestly she really didn't have to do that." Stevie shakes her head.
"She wanted to, let her spoil her granddaughter." Lindsey smirks.
"I love you." She calls .
"You can show me you love me by whipping me up an omelet." He smirks.
"Let me get myself out of bed then." She sighs.
"Here, let me help you." Lindsey walks around the bed and grabs her hands and pulls her out of the bed. He center of gravity was not there being seven months pregnant.

Lindsey was eating his omelet when Freya came into the kitchen dragging her teddy bear and blanket behind her rubbing her eyes.
"What's the matter baby?" Stevie asks wrapping her arms around her.
"What am I going to do without school." She groans.
"Freya it's Saturday..." Stevie trails off.
"I know but on Monday." Freya throws her arms up in the air and tries to climb onto the barstool next to Lindsey who ends up helping her up onto it.
"Well I don't know what we're going to do on Monday, but I know what we're going to do today." Stevie explains handing her a plate of scrambled eggs, because she wouldn't eat an omelet.
"What are we doing to do today?" Freya inquires.
"We're going to go shopping for Luna...we're going to pick out some clothes and some furniture and some blankets." Stevie explains.

Stevie was driving to the baby boutique when Freya spoke up from the backseat. "What did my blankets and bed and stuff look like when I was a baby?"
"Well, you had white furniture. Your dresser and rocking chair is from when you were a baby. That yellow quilt that you had on your bed until you got your big girl bed when school started was one of your blankets. That one with elephants on it. Because we didn't know what you were going to be, like we know Luna's going to be a little girl. When you were in mom's belly there wasn't the proper tools to see what you were going to be so we chose yellow and gray because it would go for a girl or a boy." Stevie explains.
"So what are we getting Luna?" Freya asks.
"I don't know yet baby we'll see when we get in there." Stevie smiles pulling into the parking lot.
Ruth had sent them a hefty 2,000 dollar check. Stevie wanted to send it back immediately but Lindsey wouldn't let her so there she was with two thousand dollars in cash in her wallet and it scared the shit out of her. But as soon as they walked into the store and saw how much everything was, it eased her mind a little bit-not enough-but just enough to make her okay with spending Ruth's money instead of her own. Once they made it through the door, they were immediately greeted by a bubbly associate.
"Welcome to Baby Belle's how can I help you today?"
"We're looking for stuff for my little sister." Freya answers and Stevie chuckles lightly.
"The essentials, cribs bedding so on and so forth but I think we'll be okay." Stevie smiles.
"Fine, if you need anything to hesitate to let me know." She grins.
Before they even made it to the baby furniture Stevie was consumed by the little outfits. The difference between Freya and this pregnancy other than Lindsey letting her design the nursery is that they know what she is, so as soon as Stevie saw the little girls section she went to town. But it was hard because Luna was coming in August and while they'd have nice and warm weather for a little while after, it would ultimately get colder as Fall faded into winter. But she was able to find a few cute things. She found a couple four packs of bibs. The first pack had a tan bib with white flowers on it, a white bib with pink around the edges and a grey bunny right in the middle, a pink bib with grey bunnies and some darker pink almost coral colored flowers, and the final bib was pink with orange and red flowers on it. The second pack had a pink bib with red lady bugs on it, a green bib with white butterflies, a red and white striped bib with a pink heart in the middle, and a white bib with red what looked like forget me nots on it. And the final pack of bibs included a white bib with words in black cursive that said love, a white bib with a tan outline with a cheetah and her two cubs in the middle and then here were two cheetah print bibs. One of them had bigger spots the other one had smaller spots. Freya had picked out a white long sleeve one-piece with yellow lemons and a yellow ruffle on the but and it was accompanied by a matching headband. They bought a white long sleeve fuzzy sleeper with red dots and two lady bugs on it. There was another sleeper that was an oatmeal color with pink and red strawberries on it A white long sleeve onesie with light pink around the cuffs and collar. It had yellow hearts on it and it was paired with pink leggings. And though they didn't buy a ton of summer-ish outfits, but they did buy a couple. One of which was a gray short sleeve peplum style onesie with coral, yellow, and white flowers on it and it was paired with a pair of coral leggings. Another was a navy blue short sleeve romper with white polkadots. But her favorite outfit by far was a white leopard print long sleeve which was paired with a peach overall dress.
