Derek slips his hand over Meredith's thigh before pulling out of the Hospital parking lot, and onto the main rode.

"And you won't tell me where we are going because..?" Meredith let's out before Derek turns on some music to distract her. She quickly shuts it off.

"I asked you a question."

"Well I have no answer." He runs his hand up and down her thigh before turning into downtown.

"I think I deserve an answer!" Meredith exclaims. "You really don't like surprises don't you?" Derek sighs and turns the music back on. She turns it down again.

"I absolutely do not! I never trust you. Who knows, maybe we are going to a strip club so other ladies can dance on you while I observe. Or maybe we are going to a drug store!" Meredith rants as Derek looks at her like she's lost her mind.

"I'm just saying, with you, I do not like surprises." She crosses her arms and looks ahead on the main road to see a huge river ahead with a dock of multiple boats.

"Are we going swimming? At a river? I mean sure that sounds like fun but I like pools better. More clean, less random plastic pieces.." She rambles before Derek pulls into a parking spot.

"We're here!" He gets out of the car and opens Meredith's door.

"Did you even listen to a word I said?" She looks at Derek.

"Nope. I was concentrating on the road." He smirks and takes her hand before heading to a small stand.

"Reservations for Derek Shepherd?" He pulls out his credit card and signs a piece of paper while the man scans the card.

"Can we also get a bottle of sunscreen and a few snacks? What would you like Mer?" He taps her shoulder to get her attention.

"Oh! Uhm.. can we get 4 chocolate ice creams, some doritos, potato chips, snickers, Ooo also can I get those skittles. Give me like.. 5 packets of those. And a caprisun, two beers, and a water." Derek looks at Meredith in shock. First of all, how can this tiny but sexy human eat this much food and not gain a pound, and second, how much will this cost.

"Okay will that be a-" The employee fake smiles at all the requests before Meredith interrupts him once more.

"Oh wait! Not done. Can we also get a packet of Hi-Chews, and-"

"Mer.. I think that's enough." Derek pats her shoulder before the man finally sighs and swipes Derek's card.

"I feel like that's enough. Don't you?" Meredith smiles brightly.

"Plenty." Derek gives her a quick kiss before taking the large bag of food and sun screen in one hand, and holding her hand tightly in the other, leading her to the docks to get onto a large boat. Could fit about 10 people, maybe even more if you wanted.

"What are we doing?" Meredith says taking his hand to get onto the boat.

"We are riding out on the river. I would go on a Ferry Boat with you, but I have other plans." He gives her his Mcdreamy smile before taking off his shirt, leaving him shirtless. He takes out the sunscreen and squirts some in his hand.

"Hm.. I like when your shirtless." She walks up to him and plays with his chest hair.

"Yeah?" He chuckles.

"Mhm." She kisses him on the lips while still feeling around his chest. He runs the sunscreen over his chest while Meredith squirts some in her hands to rub on his back. She starts to massage his tense muscles which let's out a groan from him.

"You are so good at massaging." He sighs moving his shoulders in rhythm with her hands.

"As long as I get some kind of reward for doing this, I'll do it as long as you want." She stands on tippy toes and whispers into his ear before returning back to massaging his shoulders.
