Soobin didn't know what to say. Instead, he started to pick things up, carefully dusting them off and setting them on the messy duvet.
"Don't," Beomgyu suddenly said, "Leave them there."
He turned over to smile again, then walked up to Soobin and hugged him.
"Let me stay like this for a moment," came the muffled voice.
--------------
And that brings a slightly embarrassed Soobin and a drunk, sobbing Beomgyu back at Soobin's apartment.
"Can you imagine how much all of that costs?" the blond-haired boy hiccuped, covered in a fluffy blanket with only his head showing and a red nose. "My favorite lip gloss... and eyeshadow too? How am I supposed to go out tomorrow?"
"You still look pretty without makeup," Soobin replied, taking a sip of beer from his barely touched can.
"That isn't even the point! How could she just destroy my dressing table? It's Gran's dressing table! It's her own Mum!" Beomgyu mumbled, hiding more into his blanket.
"I'm sorry." Soobin didn't mean to say that, but somehow he felt guilty, even though there was nothing he could have done to prevent it. "If we didn't leave, if I didn't volunteer to make dinner-"
"Stop it." Beomgyu interrupted, "You're making me feel bad and you're supposed to comfort me!"
"Sorry-"
"Enough okay?" Beomgyu said, throwing a pillow at Soobin-- losing balance and throwing himself on him instead.
The boy was blushing from alcohol, his breath smelling like beer and something sweet. His pretty eyes were shining, slightly dilated and puffy, and he's just looking so pure and too close-- Soobin had to sit up and try to scoot away.
But Beomgyu didn't move, falling into Soobin's lap with his eyes closed.
"He's asleep?" Soobin mumbled, gently touching the boy's long eyelashes. They fluttered for a bit, then set again.
With a half-laugh-half-sigh, Soobin moved Beomgyu over to the left side of the bed, then started to get another set of blankets from the closet.
Wait...
Not knowing what possessed him, Soobin walked quietly over to Beomgyu's side of the bed and gently tugged the blanket away from him.
The blond-haired boy hummed and moved a bit, but went calm quickly.
Acting perhaps on adrenaline or alcohol, he tugged the blanket over himself and laid down, completely straight and rigid.
With soft breathing and unfamiliar warmth coming from the left side, Soobin knew it's going to be a long night.
-------------
Beomgyu woke up with a headache.
And completely balled up in a blanket.
He squinted his eyes at the sun seeping through the kitchen window and looked back on to the boy sleeping peacefully on the other side of the bed.
