"Shall we leave?" Beomgyu stood up, brushing the frost off his pants. "It's getting cold."

"We can have dinner together," Soobin suddenly said.

The blond-haired boy stopped abruptly. "Really?"

And Soobin started to feel self-conscious. "Um, it's okay if you don't want to, I mean, a friend's outing-sort of dinner--"

He was cut short by a light chuckle.

"Of course it's okay," Beomgyu smiled, standing in the warm streetlight with the wind blowing through his hair, and it felt like home.

It felt nice, and Soobin found himself getting used to that smile.

"Move your ass and get up, it's freezing," the boy turned and walked towards the parking lot, rubbing his hands together.

"You look cute when you're awkward," He added, which did something to Soobin's stomach-- but he's not gonna admit it. Nuh-uh. Nothing happened.

"Are you stuck to that chair or what?" Beomgyu's voice came, and Soobin quickly stood up.

"Now be respectful, I'm the one giving you a ride back."

"So, where are we going to eat?"

"You choose?" Soobin replied, putting the motorcycle keys back in his pocket. "There's not much food around anyway."

Beomgyu looked up suddenly. "Can you cook?"

"What? Well, I can, but-"

"That's great!" the boy chirped, "It's always better to eat home-cooked food. Healthier."

Soobin didn't know to uwu at the cuteness or roll his eyes. "I didn't even say yes yet. And," he bent down, "I already gave you a ride back, you're the one that should treat me. And it was you who said we could leave in the first place."

"Please~" Beomgyu said, acting cute on purpose, "I'll help."

"....... There's nothing in the fridge."

"The market's still open."

"Are you paying?" Soobin finally said, giving in.

"Is that a yes?"

"You'd better move quickly before I regret it."

"Do we have to buy carrots? And peas?"

Beomgyu whined, leaning on the shopping cart and pushing it around like a little kid while Soobin stared intently at the dairy section, picking up packages of cheese and checking the expiry date.

"They're cheap. And an easy burst of color."

Beomgyu poked at the carrots in the cart. "But they taste disgusting..."

Soobin turned around and smiled, putting the cheese into the cart. "That's because you haven't had good carrots before."
