I used to be obsessed with origami, the Japanese art of paper folding. You can use origami for colour magick and/or to make protective guardians for your altar.
1. Fold any origami creature you want. It can be a plant or animal or any other shape (star, sailboat)
2. While folding, ask the universe/whatever you believe in to fill this origami shape with protective energy so it can protect you from harm.
3. Put it on your altar/carry it with you as a protective amulet.
