This is a special request for @actsofhatred for detachment from a toxic figure/role model in your life! (Sorry it took me so long!)
If you can, light a candle (any colour works) and say these words (if you can't light a candle just say the words):
"I do not need this toxic person in my life
They are no longer a role model to me
I am detaching from them more with every second
This is my will, so mote it be."
Repeat it as many times as you like and then imagine you and the person tied together with a glowing string. Now imagine you cutting that string with scissors easily, and the string disappears. Then blow out the candle to signify the toxic person going away.
