FROSTBURN || Min Yoongi

Chapter 24

"I'm sorry."

That was the last thing we heard from Jin before the guards surrounded us. I couldn't stop my cries anymore seeing both of their bodies just laying there on the floor. Soon, Taehyung broke down as well, falling down to his knees with ugly cries of pain leaving him.

The others had tears running down heir faces or they just stood there completely frozen, still in shock.

Yoongi was one of the shocked ones, he wasn't crying. He just stared at the two young ones lying there lifeless.

"Don't move! It's over!" One of the guards said.

Yoongi took a step towards them, ignoring the guard's words. The guns were still pointed towards him, fallowing his each step. He kept walking towards them and finally kneeled down in front of his sister.  He grabbed her body, pulling her lifeless frame against his chest. He buried his face into her hair that was covered in blood and finally the cries came...

He screamed out, shaking and pulling her body against him. The gesture made us all broke down in tears. Even the ones who were in shock due to the sudden events, started to break down one by one.

I rushed over to him, hugging him from the back, crying into his neck. I wanted to be strong for them, I wanted to be the strength of them but then, my eyes fell on Jungkook's face and I felt a lump in my throat.

I let go of Yoongi who was still crying beside me and slowly reached out to Jungkook, gently closing his eyes with my shaking fingers.

"No no no no...NO !"

I held his face with my shaking hands and brushed away the pieces of hair that were now cover in dried blood.

"Noona."

My brothers face appeared in front of my vision.

"Noona."

This time Jungkook's smiling face appeared in the back of my mind, reminding me of the joyful boy whom I've come to care for as much as my real brother. But he was gone now...

I let out ugly cries and couldn't stop my body from shaking and the next thing I know, everything turned into a complete chaos.

The guards started walking towards us, grabbing us harshly by our arms, dragging all of us away.

We tried to fight against them but came to a realization that our powers were gone.

"NO! Let me go, don't take him! Please, no!" I yelled out as the guard tried to tear my grip away from Jungkook.

I saw Yoongi punching the guard who tried to touch Yuri but soon bunch of guards held him down, hitting him until he couldn't move anymore.

"DON'T TOUCH THEM!"

"STOP!"

Namjoon and Hoseok trashed around as few guards gathered around Jungkook and Yuri's bodies, dragging them to god knows where but they were held down by the guards as well.

We were all held down on our knees next to each other in a straight line when we heard footsteps approaching us.

The footsteps were soon accompanied by hand clapping and few chuckles.

"Well now, wasn't that dramatic?"

We all glared at dr. Choi with so much hatred in our eyes that if looks could kill, he'd be dead by now.

"Thank you so much for your service Seokjin, we couldn't have done this without you." He said, patting Jin on the shoulder, who still had tears running down his face.

"TRAITOR! YOU FUCKING TRAITOR!"
Taehyung lashed out, but soon he was pushed down against the floor once again by the guards.

"How could you? How-" I tried to speak calmly but my voice cracked making me tear down again.

"I'm so sorry Aera, I'm sorry guys, I-"

"Save it."

Namjoon growled out, cutting Jin off. His tears were now replaced with anger as he gritted his teeth and the veins around his neck became visible.

"And as I promised, here's your reward for our deal." Dr. Choi said,waving his fingers at the guards.

Soon, the guards came holding a very beaten up Mina in their arms as she could barely stand up. They threw her at Jin and he was quick to catch her in his arms, checking over the bruises on her face.

"You promised you wouldn't hurt her!" He yelled.

"I promised that I wouldn't kill her. Never said anything about having a little fun."

So that's what the deal was about, I thought. Jin had sold us out in exchange for Mina's life. I've always known that they had a thing for each other but I never though we'd ever end up in a situation like this to find out.

"Now that the reunion is over," Dr. Choi looked over to us before continuing and the wicked smile on his face dropped. He was dead serious now which made him far more scarier than he was.

"Kill them."

It was like everything became slow motion in one minute.

The guards turning towards us...

Taking steps closer to us...

Aiming their guns at us..

The sound of the triggers being pulled...

But before anything could happen, Jin ran over to us, dragging Mina by her hand and Jimin literally jumped on top of us making sure to have a physical contact with everyone.

"JIMIN NOW!"

Jin's yelling was the last thing ringing in my ears before I felt my head start to spin and my vision turn black.

Next thing I know, I was back in the lab where we had just disabled the pills with Namjoon and he was sitting on the floor, just a few steps away from me while holding his head. He looked up at me with the same expression, both of us trying to understand what was going on.

"What the fuck..." I started and he continued.

"...just happened ?"
