Chapter 25

"What the fuck..."

"...just happened?"

Namjoon and I stared at each other, breathing heavily, sitting on the cold tile floor of the lab. One second ago, we were at the exit doors, surrounded by guards, about to get shot down. Now, we're back in the lab, back in the moment where we had just disabled the effects of the pills.

Suddenly, black sparks started appearing around in circles and a portal opened up right in front of us. I was already shocked enough but when I saw Jin and Jimin walking out of the portal, my jaw dropped. The portal closed up behind them and they looked at us worriedly.

"Are you two okey? Any-"

"Jimin, get away from him!"
Namjoon yelled, cutting off Jin.

"No, hyung listen-" Jimin tried to explain but he was also cut off by Namjoon.

"He killed Jungkook and Yuri! Get the fuck away from hi-"

"HYUNG! CAN YOU PLEASE JUST LISTEN?! WE DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME!"

Namjoon stood there shocked at Jimin's sudden outburst. This was the first time I'd ever seen him like this.

"Jin hyung had a plan all along, okey?! We couldn't tell any of you for it to be more believable. I reversed the time back and now we have to go, Mina is also with us. She's explaining everything to the others."

I stood there dumbfounded. This whole thing was part of a plan? The whole thing we'd been through was just a plan? Did Yuri and Jungkook-

Oh my god... Yuri and Jungkook!

"Yuri and Kook! Are they okey, are they safe?! Do they-"

"Aera they're fine..." Jin said putting his hand over my shoulder.

I looked up at him worriedly, trying to read his eyes for any hesitation but there wasn't any. He was telling the truth. I sighed in relief and swung my arms around his neck.

He was shocked for a second but slowly hugged me back and patted my head.

"I'd never betray you guys.."

The feeling of relief brought back the mixed emotions I've been trying hard to suppress and tears started pouring down from my face on to Jin's shirt.

"Thank god.. thank god they're okey....thank god you didn't betray us...thank god.." I said with a shaky voice between sobs.

Jin kept patting my back and comforting me.

"There there.." he said softly.

"Guys we have to go," Jimin said, before looking back at the camera system and continuing. "It's close to the time that the guards will be coming to a realization that we're trying to escape and the alarms will go off."

I nodded my head as I stepped away from Jin. Jin opened the portal and Jimin stepped in quickly disappearing into the blackness.

I was about to go in after him but from the corner of my eye, I saw Namjoon giving Jin a hug as Jin smiled at him. He must've felt relief to know that the person he saw as an brother, didn't actually betray him. The sight warmed my heart making me smile before disappearing into the blackness after Jimin.

In a blink of an eye, we were at the main exit and not the back exit like we'd planned in our last escape idea.

I looked around trying to get my eye sight back as the transportation had messed with my head a little bit. Suddenly, I started making out some figures out of the blurriness.

Finally being able to see clearly, I saw everyone else standing in front of me.

They all had bruises and cuts over their bodies but still managed to smile. Taehyung and Hoseok jumped around, waving their hands while Yoongi stood beside them with a proud little smile on his face.

Namjoon and Jin came from behind me and the portal closed up as they stepped out. I let out a breathy chuckle and smiled at all of them.

"Noona!"

The sudden voice made my head snap back towards the owner and my eyes widened.

"Kookie!"

He rushed over to me, embracing me into a big hug and cutting my feet of the ground. My arms around his neck was as tight as his grip was around my waist.

After he put me down, he wiped away the tear on the side of my eye and smiled at me.

"So apparently I died." He said chuckling.

"What? You don't remember?" I asked, confused.

"They know the whole story, Mina told them. But since I wasn't able to touch Yuri and Jungkook at that time like I did with you guys, the time where I jumped over you all, yeah, so, they don't remember but you all do because of my contact." Jimin explained.

I nodded at him in understanding and looked back at Jungkook.

"Anyways, I'm glad that you're okey."
I smiled as his little smile turned into a bunny one.

"Unnie didn't you miss-"

Before Yuri could continue, I walked over to her with fast steps and gave her a big hug which she gladly returned.

"Okey my turn."

Before I could react, I was pulled back from Yuri and my lips were pressed against a warm, familiar ones.

A couple of cheers were heard as Yoongi kept kissing me, not caring about the others who were probably watching us. He pulled away slowly, our faces inches away from each other and his hand still supporting my back.

"Hate to break up this very sweet yet gross moment but... the guards will soon realize what's going on. We have to get out before they do." Hoseok said.

"Wait, weren't we supposed to exit from the back doors? This is the main exit, isn't it more dangerous?" Jungkook asked, which made sense and made me wonder as well.

"When I made the plan with Dr.Choi, I told him our previous plan where we'd leave by the back exit so all the protection and the guards are there." Jin answered.

"Meaning the main exit is empty..." Namjoon continued, catching onto the plan.

"This is it guys. This is what we all been waiting for all this time. Let's leave this shit hole..." Yoongi said, his voice low with so much determination.

We all nodded our heads as Namjoon got in front of us, typing in the code password. The doors clicked open with a buzz and we ran towards the gates.

As we approached the metal gates, Jungkook used his powers and the doors went flying open in one motion.

While running passed the gates, I felt the wind brushing through my hair as the sun kissed down on my skin. This was it, we actually made it. We were out, we were free...

We kept running, Yoongi's hand in mine and the others beside us. Taking a quick glance at everyone, I saw pure happiness in their eyes as they laughed and cheered while running.

We heard the alarms going off in the facility but we were already far enough that they wouldn't be able to catch us.

Suddenly it hit me. Yes, we'd escaped and yes we were free now but what next? What happens now that we were free?

Even if they hadn't cached us yet, didn't mean that they never would. They'd come after us, I know they would.

I was stupid for not thinking this far...
