Since what I wanted was a grand adventure, I decided the world I wanted to go to next was the world of One Piece. It never finished in my original dimension, and I'm not going to peek ahead and find out. I think I'll join Luffy's crew and have fun. I will probably nerf myself though so that I don't just overpower everything I come across this time. It wouldn't feel like much of an adventure otherwise.
I was originally going to jump to the time period Luffy is about to set sail, but I decided against it. There were a lot of tragic events that happened to a lot of Luffy's crew in the past. Since I was going to sail with Luffy, that meant his nakama would be my nakama. And I don't let my friends suffer if I don't have to, even future friends. I decided to leap towards the time of Roger's execution. I can't completely avert all the tragic events that happen, but I can save the people who matter.
Since I'm nerfing myself, I decided I would only use a few abilities. First off, I will only use [Kaleidoscope] and [Clairvoyance] to find and go to the people I want to help before Luffy's adventure starts, or for when I make my monthly visits back to the BNHA world and Remnant. Second, I'll keep using [Pocket Dimension] so that I can keep in touch with Cinder, Neo, Eri, and Momo. Other than that, I decided I'd keep [Hide and Seek], [Symbiote Physiology], and [Crazy Diamond]. With [Hide and Seek], I gain basic teleportation abilities, but only to places I've been. I also gain a safe house in case I need to help anyone hide out. I made it a lot bigger and added a port so that it could fit pirate ships with ease. With this ability, Luffy's crew will never have to worry about their ship being stolen. I kept [Symbiote Physiology], because I don't think I'll ever deactivate this ability. Me and Cortana have been melded with this body type for so long, we feel uncomfortable without it. And finally, with [Crazy Diamond] I can substitute as a repairman and a doctor in a pinch. Although that last one is mostly just because I wanna beat people up over and over.
I decided I would take care of the tragedies of Luffy's nakama in chronological order. First, I went to Ohara. I knew that most of the residents would die. I wasn't sure of a way to save them all. Even if I warded off the Navy during the attack, that doesn't mean there wouldn't be future attacks. The "Four Emperors" weren't really a thing yet either, so I couldn't move the island itself to the New World and tell them to pledge their allegiance to one of them. I really didn't know a good method. I decided I would only save those who were willing to be saved. So, shortly before the Buster Call started, I paused time and talked to all the citizens of Ohara.
Y/N: "Greetings citizens of Ohara. I am here to inform you that due to the archaeologists here researching the Poneglyphs and the Void Century, Ohara will soon be bombarded by a Buster Call. I am here to offer you all a way out. To those who are willing to abandon the island and all of your possessions, I can alter your appearances and scatter you randomly across the 4 blues. You will forget how this happened. You will only remember that Ohara was being targeted by a Buster Call, and somehow you were saved. I will only do this once. If you die again because of your research, that's on you. Also, I'm going to go ahead and kill all the World Government spies on the island here for you while I'm at it." I snapped my fingers, and all the spies here burst into a blood red mist.
Everyone was shocked, not realizing there were so many spies present among them. I discovered something interesting though as I read their minds to find the spies. It turns out Nico Olivia's late-husband Nico Locke, who was also Nico Robin's father, was actually a world government agent. I decided to look into the past with Clairvoyance, and found that he was assigned to pretend to try to decipher the text, while in reality lead the researchers to an incorrect interpretation of the contents instead. He was taught the language of the Poneglyphs by the World Government, and used his knowledge to mislead the researchers in believable ways. He married Olivia to establish his cover even better, since she was a native of Ohara that was friendly with many of its residents. He eventually truly fell in love with her, but didn't realize he had a secret watcher making sure he wasn't compromised. He was assassinated, and with his dying breath he tried to warn Olivia to leave the island and stop looking for the Poneglyphs. He wasn't able to speak clearly though, and ironically Olivia interpreted his garbled words as a dying wish to seek the truth behind the Poneglyphs. Fate can be cruel sometimes. The very fate he tried to warm his family of would have fallen upon them in the future.
