OP Gamer's Journey through the Multiverse

Chapter 15

I stashed away our ship to keep it safe, then we split up. Nami, Nojiko, Usopp, Kaya, and Chopper end up in a moat on the island. They meet a zombie named Hildon, who asks if they want to come to Dr. Hogback's mansion. Chopper recognizes this name, and tells them how it's the name of a famous doctor who disappeared a few years ago. They decline Hildon's invitation, and after he disappears they're faced with hundreds of zombies. They're able to take all the zombies down with ease though, since I'd trained everyone up compared to canon. They ended up deciding to check out the mansion anyways. They had dinner with Hogback, who told them he was just here to do research on the zombies on the island. All of them thought he was lying, and Nami was later attacked by some invisible creature. Thanks to learning Observation Haki though, she was able to sense the creature and defeat it. After defeating it, she found that the 'creature' was a zombie. She tied him up, and called the others. Everyone interrogated him and found out that his name was Absalom, he'd eaten the Suke Suke no Mi (invisibility fruit), and he was a zombie general for Gecko Moria, a shichibukai.

Meanwhile, the rest of us wandered around the island/ship and saw some ghosts that Luffy tried to catch. They seemed to cause people to go into depression if they walked through them. We also encountered a zombie horde that we destroyed easily. We saw an old man, who told us how we are on the island ship of the shichibukai Gecko Moria, who has been stealing people's shadows. We end up making our way to a mansion, and we reunited with the rest of the crew. We proceeded to defeat the inhabitants of the mansion. We ended up facing Gecko Moria though. He managed to still beat most of us though with his shadow powers, and zombies. He stole Luffy's shadow and put it into the corpse of an ancient giant named Oars. Nojiko managed to help us escape but a lot of the group's shadows were stolen. Only Nojiko, Reiju, and I were spared.

We regrouped away from the mansion to recover. Chopper, Kaya, Reiju, and I helped heal everyone up. We had to fight to get our shadows back, so we decided to head back. Everyone split up at the mansion. Moria had already put our shadows into new zombies so we faced off against our respective ones. While we were fighting, Bartholomew Kuma showed up on the island. He just came to find Moria and tell him that Crocodile's successor as shichibukai has been chosen. Kuma also tells him that the World Government is afraid of another Warlord being beaten by the Straw Hats, which naturally pisses Moria off since he's fighting us, the Straw Hats. So he decides to head off to deal with us himself. He enters a cockpit in Oar's stomach and controls Oars to fight the Straw Hats. He tells us that if we can defeat him inside of Oars, he'll return everyone's shadows. We all start facing off against Oars.

Meanwhile, a group of people who had their shadows stolen showed up and buffed up Luffy by putting in 100 shadows in him. He became Nightmare Luffy, and we all manage to beat Oars by working together to shatter his spine. Despite this however, Moria shows up and won't concede defeat. He absorbs all the shadows on the island, and enters a giant form that is way stronger and starts fighting Luffy. Luffy is worried though because the sun is rising, and that could cause everyone whose shadow was stolen to die. He manages to cause the mast of Thriller Bark, the island/ship, to fall on Moria. This forces him to spew out the shadows he had absorbed. Everyone manages to get their shadows back finally. We're happy we won, but the victory is cut short because Kuma shows up. He says that we have to be eliminated and starts attacking us. At this time though, I knock everyone unconscious. It was time to protect my crew.

I started facing off against Kuma. He was an incredibly strong opponent, but I was better. He would use his Paw fruit to try to attack me, but I would cancel the shockwaves with a combination of Armament Haki and Crazy Diamond. We fought for an hour and finally he decided to leave. That was definitely the most challenging fight I've had since coming to this world.

Everyone gained consciousness, and I told them that they didn't have to worry. I fought against Kuma for a bit until he decided we weren't worth the trouble for now. We all recovered from the fight, especially Luffy who was overstrained from having all those shadows shoved into him. After recovering, the leader of the group that had buffed Luffy with shadows showed up. She introduced herself as Lola, and gave us her mother's Vivre Card. She explained to us what a Vivre Card was, and that if they need help in the new world they should go to her mother. We also realized that Ace's Vivre Card was beginning to burn, signaling that Ace was in danger. Luffy decided that we wouldn't go after Ace though, since he couldn't interfere in his brother's journey.
