Chapter 24

The events of Ant-Man seem to have still happened. Even if Hank Pym had his wife back, he was still kind of an asshole. Scott Lang, a conman, was given the suit to rob stuff from Avengers HQ. Eventually he ended up taking down Darren Cross who also made shrinking technology based on Pym's, and ended up falling in love with Hope Pym (Hank's daughter). They became the hero duo Ant-Man and the Wasp.

The plot line of Civil War didn't seem to be happening, since the Sokovia incident never really happened. However, somehow Bucky Barnes was still ordered by someone else to bomb a U.N. conference that had King T'Chaka and Prince T'Challa of Wakanda. T'Challa thought his father died, and chased after Bucky in his Black Panther costume. I managed to save T'Challa's life though. And when Black Panther captured Bucky, I managed to negotiate with him.

I explained to him how the Winter Soldier was a brainwashed soldier, and was in fact Bucky Barnes from the time of Captain America. Since I saved his father's life, T'Challa was able to let go of his anger. The royal family expressed their gratitude and agreed to let me in to Wakanda. I learned from their advanced technology, and together with Shuri, the princess of Wakanda, we deprogrammed Bucky. He was free for good.

In our reprieve, we'd also managed to figure out that this time, Bucky had been brainwashed by Ulysses Klaus. He was using the Winter Soldier in the hopes of eventually stealing more Vibranium from Wakanda. I brought Captain America in on this, who was happy to see his best friend free of brainwashing. Captain America, the Winter Soldier, Black Panther, and I all teamed up and took down the army of Winter Soldiers Klaus had controlled.

Tony during this time also took on Spider-Man as a protege. I'd already taught Peter, but Tony upgraded all his tech and stuff too. When he started facing off against the new villain Vulture, Tony helped take the villain down.

Around the same time period, I felt massive fluctuations in the timeline. After all, as someone from outside this world, I could sense when time was altered and it affected me. I found Doctor Strange facing off against Dormammu. I sneakily copied the Time Stone that Strange had, boosting my time manipulation abilities by a lot. Afterwards, I helped him actually destroy Dormammu. Not the bargaining that happened in the movie. I used the same abilities I'd used against Mephisto and absorbed Dormammu's soul.

Later, I got a distress call from Asgard. When I warped over, I saw that Odin had died. From old age apparently. Frigga died with him since she couldn't bear to live on without him. But the distress call was because Odin's death released Hela, who was wrecking Asgard. I managed to take Hela down by absorbing her soul, like I have with Mephisto and Dormammu. I'm beginning to see a trend here.

Ragnaraok didn't end up happening, and Odin became King of Asgard. Afterwards though, Loki and Valkyrie showed up with a huge ship. They apparently fled from Sakaar. They rushed here to warn us that Thanos was coming, and we should evacuate. Sadly, Thanos made it right after them and we started facing off against him. As I would have landed the killing blow, somehow his subordinates had gathered the Tesseract and handed it to me. Instead of Thanos dying, I was warped off into some random region in space. I'm guessing this must be fate interfering, since Thanos is probably destined to do his 'snap'.

Seeing that killing Thanos right now would probably be pointless, I didn't warp towards him. I went back to Asgard, and helped the remaining Agardians rebuild. At least none of the notable Asgardians that I knew died, like Thor, Loki, or Heimdall. Then, I headed towards Earth. I knew that Thanos would come, and warned the Avengers along with Thor and Loki. Doctor Strange joined us, and we discussed plans for taking Thanos down. A lot of the heroes of earth gradually joined us, since this was a threat that affected us all.

The first thing I said was, we have to remove the Mind Stone from Vision. Otherwise there's a high chance of him being targeted and killed first. I worked with Tony, and he managed to transfer all the data from the Mind Stone containing Vision's 'mind' into Vision's synthetic brain. I then removed the Mind Stone from Vision with the Ope Ope no Mi. We all discussed strategies on how to defend the Infinity Stones.

The Guardians of the Galaxy, having learned of Thanos's threat from Asgard, went ahead and tried to nab the Reality Stone. They were too late though. Thanos managed to get it, and also robbed Gamora from them. He found the Soul Stone, and sacrificed Gamora to get it. Finally, his army targeted Earth.

We had a tough fight, but Thanos gathered the stones and 'snapped'. Half of all life in the universe was wiped. Afterwards, Thanos destroyed the stones. Everyone felt like it was hopeless. Rather than let the world go through its long term mourning phase, I gathered all of the heroes left, including Captain Marvel who had joined us, and told them a secret.

I told them how I'd robbed Hank Pym's technology long ago, and that I believed it was possible to travel to alternate timelines with it. As I explained my ideas to the scientists, we realized it was feasible to gather alternative infinity stones from the past and snap everyone back. I knocked out Nebula and put her into stasis though. They looked at me questioningly, but I explained that she couldn't be trusted, and it's not like we needed her anyways. They agreed to this, seeing no harm in just releasing her after our mission was over.

So, we all had our missions, and executed our time heists. I took charge of getting the Soul Stone though. I wasn't going to make anyone sacrifice themselves. I headed towards Vormir, where the stone was, and overpowered the sacrifice needed by the stone with sheer power. I was too strong for it, so I was able to grab it. The others grabbed their respective stones as well.

Banner, the strongest one physically, snapped everyone back. I healed him afterwards. Then, we returned all the stones to their respective times. Captain America decided to stay in the Alternate Timeline. He went to the past, and grew old with Peggy Carter. He returned to us as an old man, after she died.

Seeing as how canon seemed to mostly be over, I figured I could now mess up the world as much as I wanted. I tested this by mass-producing the super-soldier serum. Everyone in the world became stronger, healthier, smarter. With Wakanda integrating into the world, Stark alive, and the technology we gained from space, humanity entered a new golden age. Science progressed at an unprecedented pace, and we made a splash on the galactic scale. We were a spacefaring civilization now too.

After everything that happened, the world realized I, Anna Vita, was Blast. My history and deeds, even the ones that were considered government secrets, were all exposed to the world. I became immortalized as the 'Grandmother' of all heroes. Apparently Tony wanted to mess with me, and called me a grandma to them all since I was so old in age compared to the rest of them (except the Asgardians). Somehow a reporter caught that, and it stuck. I'm the most famous grandmother ever. And I don't even have children.

I left a method of communication, and decided to head to a new world.
