Chapter 19

On the way to Wano, we got a newspaper and saw that all of our bounties were raised by several levels. Over half of us had bounties in the billions, with the lowest being 800 million. The newspaper also seemed to acknowledge Luffy as the new Fourth Emperor, replacing Big Mom. Considering we defeated her and assimilated Big Mom Pirates into our Straw Hat Grand Alliance, that seemed like a pretty valid claim.

While we were sailing, I felt that Shirahoshi, Cobra, Vivi, and Titi (Vivi's mother) were in danger through their marks. I peeped in on them and saw that a Celestial Dragon named Charlos was trying to enslave Shirahoshi while the CP0 was supporting him. I was going to intervene, but then Donquixote Mjosgard intervened and protected her. So I let it be. Meanwhile, with Cobra, Vivi, and Titi I saw that they didn't even seem to realize that Im, the hidden king of the World Government, was targeting them. It seems like Cobra had in fact already been poisoned for a while, but thought it was a disease. I went ahead and healed him of his condition, and decided I'd monitor them a bit more carefully since their lives were at risk.

We didn't exactly have territory, but I was able to get permission from Whitebeard to help us shelter the citizens of Wano while we dealt with Kaido. The Whitebeards owed me, and they also felt like they owed that much to their late comrade Kozuki Oden. So they agreed and set themselves up on Sphinx to take all the Wano citizens I sent their way. See, the plan to deal with Kaido was a full frontal assault. I was going to evacuate all the innocent people in Wano before the fight started. In this time period, I'd already helped train up the entirety of the Straw Hat Grand Alliance to be able to use the Rokushiki and Haki. All the preparations were ready, so I told the Straw Hats I was going to go ahead to evacuate the citizens. They let me go on ahead, and they began meeting up with the Grand Alliance.

As I arrived towards Wano, I used Observation Haki, combined with the Voice of All Things, on a massive scale. I used these abilities to sense every single lifeform on Wano, and to judge who was innocent and who wasn't. I marked all the innocent on Wano, and used [Hide and Seek] to send them all directly to Shinx (I marked Shinx earlier when negotiating with Whitebeard). I also found that most of the Supernova crews that were here didn't want to work for Kaido, so I freed them and they joined us too. This included the crews of Eustass Kid, Basil Hawkins, Scratchmen Apoo, and X Drake. At this time, everyone left on Wano started looking confused, angry, panicked, and everything in between. They wondered who was after them.

After bringing everyone back, I did go ahead and gather the combatants who wanted to help Wano though together, like the remnants of the Nine Red Scabbards. Kaido's daughter Yamato also wanted to join interestingly enough. I debated if I should do this, but seeing the loyalty of all these Wano countrymen after all these years towards Kozuko, I decided to use Kaleidoscope to revive Kouzki Oden and his wife Kozuko Toki. I would alter their memories to think that Toki had somehow awakened her fruit on her deathbed and sent herself and Oden forward. After I did that, all the Wano people had a joyful reunion with their daimyo, and we had 2 very powerful allies added against Kaido. While the Whitebeard pirates were mostly going to sit out, apparently Ace had made some promises to Tama, a kunoichi in training, and Yamato here on the island and decided to join us in our fight too. With our fighting force at its peak, we marched to war.

Luffy took on Kaido, and Kozuki took on Orochi and his followers. Zoro, Sanji, and Reiju took on the Beat Pirate's All-Stars. Everyone else split up and matched the various forces of the Beast pirates as well. Rather than fighting anyone, Nojiko and I took the role of recovery. I marked every single member of our forces and used Observation Haki over all of Wano to monitor them. I would find the ones who were in danger, and Nojiko would redirect people using her Door fruit as needed to assist. In case they were too injured, I'd send them back to Shinx. We were determined to reach minimal casualties on our side in this war.
