i was raging in arsenal so i decided to rage quit like a boss and write this ;)

summary- dream revived tommy but accidentally made tommy de-aged. sam has to take care of him. (toddler au)

dream froze, looking at a now tommy. he had tried reviving tommy, which he did, but tommy was now a...

toddler?

tommy looked up at the tall blonde male, a smile on his face. "hello! i'm tommy!" toddler tommy greeted, walking up to dream and hugging his leg.

"hi..i'm dream." dream said, picking the boy up and walking to the button which alerted sam he needed food.

"dream, i gave you food like an hour ago. what do you want?" sam asked, his tone showed he was annoyed.

"i-" dream paused, being interrupted by tommy. "hi! i'm tommy!" tommy yelling, giggling.

"wha-? tommy? but-" dream stopped him. "yeah, i know. i revived him, but accidentally turned him into his toddler self. can you just come get him?" dream explained.

sam didn't answer which probably meant he was in his way. the machine to drain the lava could be heard, dream walking up to the lava but not to close to hurt tommy.

he hated the boy, but still had some human decency. when the lava had fully drained, sam wasted no time and stepped on the platform that took him to dream.

"here." dream said, handing tommy to sam. sam quickly grabbed the toddler, making the machine go back.

once it did, he made the lava rise again and telling puffy if she could guard the prison which she agreed before heading home.

once sam was home, he placed tommy down on the couch and turned on some cartoons, preferably dora the explorer, to keep him busy.

sam sighed, making his way to his room and looking for some of his old clothes when he was a kid. he found a black hoodie and some comfortable gray shorts for tommy.

sam headed back downstairs and to tommy. "i found some clothes for you." sam told the blonde who only nodded, yelling at dora every once in awhile.

sam turned off the tv and tommy frowned. "i was watching that." tommy pouted, crossing his arms. "well, mr. i was watching that, you need to shower and go to bed." sam said, picking tommy up and heading to the bathroom.

"can you shower yourself or do you want help?" sam asked, setting tommy down. "i can do it! i'ma big man!" tommy answered, grabbing the clothes from sam and heading to the bathroom, closing the door.

sam shook his head, letting out a breathy chuckle. he decided to wait near the bathroom just in case tommy needed help.

"sam..?" tommy yelled and sam quickly stood up, heading to the bathroom. "what's wrong, tommy?" sam asked through the door.

"i need help showering." said tommy in the bathroom. sam chuckled, opening the door and seeing tommy who stood in the tub, water everywhere.

"oh jeez.." sam muttered. "lets just get you cleaned up, yeah? i'll clean the bathroom later." sam said, doing just that and helping tommy shower.

tommy stood at the doorway of the bathroom. he had on the set of clothes sam gave him, the hoodie a bit big on him. "sorry, sam.." tommy mumbled, looking down at the ground.

"for what?" sam asked, still mopping the bathroom floor. "i made a mess." tommy answered, looking up at the creeper hybrid.

"it's fine. you didn't mean to, i understand." sam assured tommy who had a bright smile on his face. tommy ran up to sam and hugged the older's leg.

sam laughed picking up the blonde and placing him on his hip. the blonde responded by putting his head on the male's shoulder, his fist gripping sam's green hoodie.

tommy yawned, eyes closing and small snores leaving his mouth. sam had a small smile on his face, forgetting about cleaning and heading to his room.

he went downstairs, sitting down on the small rocking chair he had and slowly rocking back and forth.

he could get used to this.
