Keith’s first day of school has finally ended and he was assigned to clear the board. He is doing his task then suddenly Alex stands from her seat, takes her bag and leaves. Keith is about call Alex, but five of his classmates block his way.
“Is there something I can do for you girls?”
“Who do you think you are Natalie?” Said one of them
“What do you mean?”
“Do you know being near with Alex is a crime in this school?”
“You mean being friends with him?”
“Not just being friends but being close to. . .”

“Oh, that. . you must be mistaken. I am not interested in boys in such a way.”
“Who are you fooling? With that pretty face of yours, do you think we’ll just let you be?!”
Keith saw Alex left already. “Can we talk next time? I’m kinda in a hurry right now.” Keith said
“So what?” Said the other one
“Okay, okay.. what do you want me to do?!”
“Change seat starting tomorrow.”
“Where will I sit tomorrow?”
“Anywhere would do, as long as it is not near Alex.”
“Okay, okay I got it. So can I leave now?”
They gave way to Keith and he runs and hoping he could catch up with Alex. “Gosh those girls, I really have no time to delay. Where did Alex go?” Keith reaches the school gate but he didn't saw her.
*catching his breath* “Where is he? I really need his help finding a place to stay tonight. Because of those girls I lost the chance to get close to him. But I won’t give up now. I’m gonna make him my first friend.” He murmured “I guess I should take a walk around. Just to familiarized the views, and find a place to stay.”
Keith takes a tour on himself, pulling his traveling bag. He was quite surprised what meets his eyes. The environment is very different from where he was from. The neighborhood is quite noisy and some streets seem scary for a female to pass by. Keith was hoping to find a place he could rent but he didn't find any. Keith notices that it is getting late, and when he looked on his watch it was 7pm already. He ended on a small park.
He’s feeling tired and sat on a bench for a while. . .
“Oh, I’m very hungry and it’s starting to get cold now. I think I should stay on a motel tonight. I hope they would let me in. But before that I will eat dinner first.” Keith then stands and started to walk. Suddenly a group of men approaches his way.
*laughing* “Hi there.”
“Huh?”
“Hi miss, we notice that you are alone. Do you need a companion tonight?”
*smirk* “Well, you are mistaken. I am the last person you would want to be with tonight.”
And what make you say that?” asks one of the men “You look really pretty to me.”
“I can’t believe how shameless you are. Why are you picking on female students? All of you are so ugly.”
*angry* “W. . what? U. . ugly? You have a sharp tongue lady.”
“Sharp?” *laugh* “I’m sorry. It is my first time meeting people like you, hitting with young students. I just find it gross.” Sorry again but I am not interested on your offer. I can’t stand your faces.”
