It was morning already after Keith slept on Alex's house. . . .
"AAAHHHH!!!" Keith screamed I'm late "Wh..where did he go? That Alex. He didn't wake me up and left me.!!"
In the classroom...
Keith saw Alex talking to her phone. He then approached her.
"Alex!! Why didn't you wake me?" Keith asked but Alex put the phone down, and did not answer Keith. "Okay don't answer me."
Alex looked at Keith and said: "Hey, Nana."
"Na...Nana?"
"Let's go eat at the canteen. I'm hungry." Alex stands and walks out of the class room.
*agreed* "Yeah I'm so hungry too."
Meanwhile at the canteen...
"Is it okay to be here? Classes are going on."
"Yeah. It's okay. Skipping class once in a while won't hurt. Are you all about your grades?"
"No not really. Who cares about grades anyway?"
Alex is so quiet while eating and she has a very serious look on her face. As if she's thinking so deeply. Keith Was mesmerized by how Alex moves. The way she drinks and eat. And when she blinks her eyes her long lashes sparkled. Keith can't help but stare.
"What?" Alex ask as he notice Keith is staring at her
"Ah..no..nothing." "This guy is really cute. No wonder girls will come after him." "So what are you thinking so deeply?"
"Nothing. After you eat you can go back to the classroom."
"Aren't you coming back with me?"
"No. I'll skip today's classes."
"Huh? But why?"
"Just so."
After they ate, Keith pretended that he will go back to the classroom. When Alex leaves the canteen, Keith followed her. "There is really something this guy is up to." He continues on following Alex. He saw Alex left the school and meet with two persons. "Who are they? I need to get nearer to hear what they are talking about."
"How much more do I owe you that you keep on bothering me day and night?"
"Oh, not much more Alex, only $1000 left."
"What? $1000? How come? I...."
"Interest Alex, interest.."
*close her eyes and sigh* "Okay, okay... wait until my next pay."
*sarcastic laugh* "Next pay? Are you kidding? We know how little you get from your wage. I can't let you do installments. It's a headache contacting and coming looking for you."
"How am I supposed to have that amount of money?"
"That's your problem. We need the money the day after tomorrow. If not, you'll be sorry."
"Wh..whaa.."
The men left. Alex sat on a bench.
Keith approaches her...
"Hey, Alex."
"Na..Nana? What are you doing here?"
"Are you alright? What's going on?"
"Nothing's going on. I'm going back home. I will be absent today." Alex stands and started walking.
"I can help you."
