The men who attacked Alex were talking inside the car. Rey, the appointed leader of the group asks John.
"Why are we going back? What about the kid?"
"The president had a heart attack and we should hurry to the hospital. I'm the only one who could present as his family." John replies
"What?"
"I need to find out what happened. Drive faster Pete!"
"Yes boss."
Keith, Alex and Steve are sitting outside the room and looking at each other.
*confuse* "Okay. Tell me exactly what this is all about." Said Steve "Why Natalie evolve as. . . who are you really?" *turned to Keith
"I don't owe you any explanation." Keith replied, "The person that I need to explain to is Alex."
"W..what?!"
"Stop it you two." Alex interrupt
"But Alex!"
"I said stop it Steve."
Steve stops talking and quietly stay put. Alex turned to Keith and talks to him.
"So, what's your real name then?" She asked
"My real name is Keith but you cannot tell anyone about it."
"And why not?!" Steve reacted
"Okay, we won't tell. Let's sleep." Alex said
"Huh? That's it? You just ask him for his name and it's over?" Steve protested
"Yeah that's it. It's all I needed to know." Alex stands and starts walking heading to their room. Keith stands too and followed her.
"Hey where do you think you're going?" Steve reacted
"Uh going to sleep obviously. Didn't you hear her?"
"You cannot sleep in the same room with Alex!"
"Why not? It's our room."
"Because you're a boy!" Steve starting to get angry
"Hey, why are you being like this?" Keith asked, Steve didn't answer and Keith leaves heading to their room
Alex entered their room and Keith followed and closed the door.
"Why do you just let me get away with this?" Keith asked Alex
"What do you mean?"
"I deceived you but you are not getting angry or throwing me away."
"What's good will it do for everyone if I do that?"
"Aren't you going to ask me any explanation?"
"All of your actions have reasons. You choose to hide it because there is something big behind it."
"Huh? How can you tell?"
"You see Keith, I see things differently. I respect you as a human and how you handle things. I am not the kind of person who easily jumps into conclusions without thinking about the situation. Besides you are still my tenant so you are my responsibility. Also, not only you are my renter, but my classmate, friend and like a member of my family as well. We don't throw away family, do we?"
"A..Alex . ."
"Anyway, you can always tell your reasons whenever you are comfortable. I will not force you to say anything. I guess I'm also slow as I didn't notice your manly side." *smile*
*smile in return* "I am really happy to have you as my friend Alex."
"Really? Same with me. Thank you for helping me the last time too."
*both laugh*
Someone knocked on the door. . . .
Alex opened the door and Steve was standing outside, suddenly Steve entered the room while saying.
"I am sleeping here tonight."
"What?!" Keith asked surprisingly
"Why? Can't I?"
"Alex?!" Keith screamed
Steve turned to Alex "Why? He could sleep here then why can't I?"
"Did I say anything?" Alex answered
"Alex?! He can't be in this room. Where will we sleep?" Object Keith
"Let him sleep here tonight if he likes. Besides, I will be the only one who will sleep on the bed."
"What?!" Keith reacted
"That's fine with me." Steve said
"Hey Alex, that's not fair."
"Both of you are men and I am the only lady so it is only reasonable for me to sleep on the bed."
"No!! You're not a lady!!" Whined Keith like a small child
"Hey stop talking like that to Alex!" Yell Steve
"Why are you screaming?!" Keith talks back
"Stop it!" Alex shriek "The thing I hate the most are noisy men quarreling in front of me. It is settled, the two of you should share the sofa."
"Sofa can't even accommodate one person, how are we supposed to fit here?" Keith said
"You two will need to fit there anyhow, and no fighting."
Keith and Steve have been fighting for one blanket and they keep on pulling it away from the other while sitting in the sofa.
"This supposed to be my blanket." Keith said in a low voice
"Oh yeah? Where's your name on it?"
"Why don't you get your own?"
"I don't want to. My coworker is using it."
"Why don't you return to your room then?"
"You wish."
Keith pulling the blanket "Let go of it."
"You let go of it." Steve pulls back
Frowning "Do you really want a fight?" Keith starting to get annoyed
"Do you dare?"
Both of them are staring furiously at each other while holding tight on the blanket.
"Hey are you two fighting again?" Alex said
"Ah, no Alex we are just discussing things in a friendly way." Steve answered
"Is this what you call a friendly w...." Steve suddenly covered Keith's mouth while he was still speaking.
Meanwhile the men who attacked Alex arrive at the hospital and they rushed to President Park's room. The other waits outside while John entered the room. Now John loves Mr. Park very much that he treats him as his own father. John's parents abandoned him when he was still very young and he started to live in the street. Park saw him and took him and treated him as a family.
Park is still unconscious, so John talked to his doctor. The doctor explained that he got a minor heart attack and will be under observation for now. Tests are being done and will let him know when they get the results. After talking to the doctor, he goes out and the others suddenly approach him.
"How is he?" Asks Rey
"We can't still say until the test results are out." Replied John
"What happened?"
"I don't know yet. He is still unconscious."
The men starting to get worry.
"There's nothing we can do here now. You should go home for tonight."
"How about you?"
"I will stay here with the president. I will just call if everything is already settled here. Don't do anything without me."
The men silently leave. As they are outside the hospital one of the men says:
"What now? What will happen to the President?"
"We should finish our job and give the president good news when he wakes up." Answered Rey
"But John said we should stay put without his command." Replied the other
"We owe the president so many things, and we haven't been able to return the favor to him. I want to please him while I still can right now." The others didn't answer "I will continue what we started today even without you."
He then starts to walk, then the other stops him.
"Hey wait! I will come with you."
"Me too!" Said the others
"We are brothers now. We are family. The president is like our beloved father who feeds us and provide shelter to us. Like you, we also want to make him happy. We are his only family."
He stops walking and turned around.
Almost in tears "Gu..guys" cried
The others run to him and hugged him and they cried too.
