Chrissy's P.O.V.
"Calum?" I said out loud, making him look at me. The confusion in his eyes disappeared immediately and he sprinted towards me, wrapping his arms around my shoulders. "Oh my god, what are you doing here? Oh I see you've met Aleisha already, what about you two come sit with us over there?" he pointed at his seat and we agreed.
"Alright, guys this is Keira Louise. Lou, that's Aleisha and that's Chrissy. I've met her during that band camp thing I told you about!" Calum explained overly excited.
"God, can you stop using my full name? Either Keira or Lou is okay." She chuckled, extending her hand for us to shake. She was wearing a hazel coloured beanie that matched her eyes and a black hoodie, both suited her perfectly.
We sat and talked with them for about 3 hours, until the sun began to set. Taking a look at my phone, I saw that it was 7:30 PM already. "Hey, I think I'll set out for home now. Keira, it was nice to meet you! Calum, glad that we could catch up on everything and Aleisha, I'll see you tomorrow at uni, okay? Bye!" I said, leaving the café.
As soon as I arrived at my appartement, I let Stella out to pee and fed her afterwards. Just when I was about to plump onto my couch, my eyes caught a light red coloured envelope and a rose on my coffee table. In neat handwriting 'Chrissy x' was written on it. I opened it and pulled out a letter.
There was nothing written except for the name of a restaurant in Sydney and it's address. Thinking that the letter could only be from one person, I changed into black shorts and a flowy dark blue coloured top, applied some make-up and grabbed my bag before heading to my car.
Twenty minutes later I pulled into a parking lot of a fancy looking restaurant. Barely audible piano music and the smell of vanilla candles surrounded me as I walked in. "Good evening, you must be Miss Costanza, let me guide you to your table." a pretty handsome waiter welcomed me and led me to the very back of the restaurant.
That's where I saw him sitting there in a white button-down shirt, fumbling with his hands and biting his lip-ring. "Hey, Luke" I said when the waiter left. "Wow..." Luke gasped, looking up at me. "I mean hey, Chrissy."
"Sooo... Nice choice." I began, referring to the restaurant. "Thanks. So you might wonder why I've invited you here. I've been feeling so dumb about everything that happened and I just wanted to, uh, talk, because I know you're still mad and-"
"Luke." I chuckled.
"Yeah?"
"I'm not mad at you. Actually, I think it's really sweet that you've rented a table and dressed up and planned your whole apology, but really, I'm not mad at all." I smiled and went on "Actually I feel shit because you broke up with Aleisha... just... for me."
"Well, to be exact she broke up with me!" he laughed. "But don't worry, we talked about it for long and she told me that she's okay with all of this, I'm guessing she explained her opinion to you already."
"Yeah, you're right." I said.
We sat together, ate, talked and laughed for what felt like forever until Luke paid the bill and offered to go for a walk on the beach, which I happily approved.
----------------------------------
"Chrissy," Luke cleared his throat as we walked through the sand, turning serious "I, uhm, I didn't know if it was appropriate to ask, you know, because of, uhm, because of everything that happened." He stopped walking and I turned to him. "But I wanted to ask if you" he inhaled deeply "If you want to be my girlfriend."
My mouth immediately curled into a smile and in reply I smashed my lips onto his, wrapping my hands around his neck. He returned the kiss and I could feel him smiling against me. "Soo is this a yes or a no?" he chuckled after we broke apart.
"You're such an idiot." I laughed out, receiving a fake frown.
"Stop calling me idiot!" he whined.
"Make me" I said, regretting it instantly when he threw me over his shoulder and ran straight into the water. "NO! STOP! LET ME DOWN!" I yelped and slapped his back, which had no effect as I had, like, no muscle.
"Will you stop now?" he laughed as I hovered in his arms above the water.
"Never!" And with that he dropped me into the blue, but - smart as I am - I pulled him with me. When we resurfaced Luke laughed while putting a shell on top of my dripping wet hair. "That's not funny!" I shouted. "It totally is!" he chuckled.
"Ugh I hate you..." I wrung my hair out.
"No, you love me." he replied.
"Yes, I do."
