Chapter 15

Chrissy's P.O.V.

I literally counted down the minutes until the plane's wheels touched the australian ground. It was around 2pm when I dragged my suitcase out of the airport. The mid-summer sun sent warm and bright rays from above and a tiny breeze made the heat bearable. After I shut the door of the cab, that would take me to my new home, I put my phone off airplane mode - causing it to vibrate nonstop, because of the messages, calls and notifications I had. Nonsurprisingly, about half of the calls were from Ashton, who had no idea I was in his hometown. Yet.

Some time passed until I finally unlocked the door to my appartement - which was part of my stipend at the University of Arts and from which I had a beautiful view on the Opera - and plopped down on the white sheeted bed. I decided to call Ashton and make him believe me that I wasn't dead.

*beep*

*beep*

"Hello?"

"Hi Ashton! It's Chrissy, I just wanted to tell you I'm still alive and-"

"Where have you been?!"

"Calm down, I was just a little busy. Where are you?"

"Uhhmmm... I'm in the Park with Calum. Why?"

"Just askin'. Listen, Ash, I gotta go. I have a ton of work to do. Bye!"

"Uhh.. Bye?"

I hung up and rushed out of the front door. I had luckily rented a car before I flew here, which I jumped in and drove down the road. Until I reached the Park.

Grabbing my phone and the keys, I hopped up from the drivers seat and shut the door behind me. The blindingly bright sun made it hard to see anything at first but I'd always recognize the curly haired boy I was searching for without a doubt. He was sitting on the ground, leant against a giant tree and watched Calum play football with some boy I didn't know.

When I got closer, Calum suddenly turned around and his jaw dropped as he realized it was me. That obviously caught Ashtons attention and when he turned to me, I had a giant smile spread across my face. It seemed like he was unable to move for a few seconds until he jumped up and sprinted towards me with an unhuman speed.

I spread my arms and was engulfed in the tightest hug ever. "What are you doing here?" he spluttered, not letting go of me.

"You won't believe it, I got accepted at the University of Arts and I practically live down the road now!" I said-squeaked as he eventually loosened the hug. Ashton muttered something inaudible while Calum had made his way towards me and embraced me as well.

We decided unanimously to go to some coffeeshop followed by a few hours of catching up on everything. Finally we said goodbye and concluded to meet up the next day again. When I got home, I called some people - also the person who'd bring Stella to me in a few weeks' - ,unpacked my suitcase and went to bed as I had to be up early the next day.

The alarm shrilled through my bedroom and I stretched extensively before actually getting up. Pretty much the usual routine happened. Breakfast, shower, getting ready and grabbing my stuff for University.

20 minutes later I walked through the huge metallic gates, already being flashed by the size of the Uni. There were students everywhere, doing work, studying, making out with other students - the usual. I made my way to the principals room who welcomed me nicely.

"Oh, you must be Chrissy Costanza! Welcome to Sydney's University of Arts. You'll be sent your formulas, etc. in a few days. Here's your timetable, your very own folder and a list of your co-students. I'd like to show you around, but unfortunately I'm about to leave..." he rambled without a break as a blonde girl entered the room. "Oh, what a coincidence! Miss McDonald, would you be so kind to show Miss Costanza around for a bit? Thank you!" and with that he left us alone.

The girl looked quite sympathetic. Her blonde hair reached just above her belly and she had bright blue eyes. "I'm Aleisha. Aleisha McDonald." she extended her hand for me to shake as she introduced herself. "I'm Chrissy. Nice to meet you." I answered.

"Alright, let's go, shall we?"
