Chrissy's P.O.V.

Nervousness was written on everybody's foreheads today. It was finally the day of Round Two and none of us was truly ready (perhaps because of certain distractions), but we would have to give it our best. I zoned out, thinking about how this day would go by. The thought of either 5sos or ATC losing shocked me, because that would mean I probably wouldn't see them ever again, but it shocked me even more how my affection for them seemed to grow bigger every second.

We attended this competition, with the one and only destination to become a successfull band and make good music with great artists, but now that wasn't the only thing I wanted to take home from this camp.

Feeling like I was in trance, I could hear the nonstop talking from everyone and everywhere, making me feel small and anxious, but luckily someone grabbed my arm and pulled me to the backstage area, where it was a lot more silent. I realized, Luke had gotten me out of there which calmed me down completely.

"I just wanted to say good luck, even though you don't need it, because your band is obviously going to nail it." he pulled me into a tight hug, which I returned. "Thank you Luke, you'll do great as well. See you later, I guess, it's your band's turn now." I responded and gave him a peck on the lips, which made him smile from ear to ear before he took his guitar and walked to his band mates.

Afterwards I listened to Taylor's band who also did really well. Of course she was wearing all black, that underlined her pale skin and her platin blonde hair. In my eyes, she looked absolutely gorgeous and she had one hell of a great voice.

About 2 hours later, I was backstage with my band mates. "Alright, it's our time to shine." Will encouraged us. "Let's do this." I said, trying to encourage them as much as I could.

To my surprise, the crowd cheered pretty loudly as soon as we stepped on stage. My eyes immediately and involuntarily scanned the crowd for a certain pair of blue ones.

I clearly felt my heartbeat increase while I desperately searched Luke in the crowd, but I could only find Ashton, Calum and Michael, who gave me warm smiles as they noticed how confused I was.

Did Luke even care about if we stay in the camp or not? Well he obviously didn't bother watching us perform so I assumed he had more important things to do.

My mind told me it would be the best decision to forget about him right now and concentrate on the show, so I did, even though my heart didn't quite agree with that...

As if someone had told them to, everyone got completely silent, waiting for us to play one of my favourite songs of all time. Shivers ran down my spine as Dan started strumming the strings and soon afterwards he started singing, me joining in.

He woke up from dreaming and put on his shoes
Started making his way past 2 in the morning
He hasn't been sober for days

Leaning now into the breeze
Remembering Sunday, he falls to his knees
They had breakfast together
But two eggs don't last
Like the feeling of what he needs

Now this place seems familiar to him
She pulled on his hand with a devilish grin
She led him upstairs, she led him upstairs
Left him dying to get in

Forgive me, I'm trying to find
My calling, I'm calling at night
I don't mean to be a bother,
But have you seen this girl?
She's been running through my dreams
And it's driving me crazy, it seems
I'm going to ask her to marry me

Even though she doesn't believe in love,
He's determined to call her bluff
Who could deny these butterflies?
They're filling his gut

Waking the neighbors, unfamiliar faces
He pleads though he tries
But he's only denied
Now he's dying to get inside

Forgive me, I'm trying to find
My calling, I'm calling at night
I don't mean to be a bother,
But have you seen this girl?
She's been running through my dreams
And it's driving me crazy, it seems
I'm going to ask her to marry me

The neighbors said she moved away
Funny how it rained all day
I didn't think much of it then
But it's starting to all make sense
Oh, I can see now that all of these clouds
Are following me in my desperate endeavor
To find my whoever, wherever she may be

I'm not coming back
I've done something so terrible
I'm terrified to speak
But you'd expect that from me
I'm mixed up, I'll be blunt, now the rain is just
Washing you out of my hair and out of my mind
Keeping an eye on the world,
From so many thousands of feet off the ground, I'm over you now
I'm at home in the clouds, and towering over your head

Well I guess I'll go home now...
I guess I'll go home now...
I guess I'll go home now...
I guess I'll go home

The sound of our voices died away as I opened my eyes to scan the crowd one last time, but I still couldn't find the one person I truly wanted to be here. All of the sudden the host ripped me out of my thoughts, trying to shout louder than the crowds cheer.

To my total surprise, Michael, Ashton and Calum weren't backstage either. Perhaps they were already on stage. I nervously waited for anything to happen, when my bandmates walked past me, but Dan stopped for a second. His face held an expression that screamed 'sorry', his eyes narrowed at mine, making me curious.

"I have an announcement to make..." the host started. "Luke Hemmings and Chrissy Costanza are officially disqualified from the battle of the bands."
