Chrissy's P.O.V.
Skeptical about whether I should have kicked him out, I chucked on some gray sweatpants and a light blue t-shirt and quickly dried my hair with a towel.
I settled on the opposite side of the sofa, crossed my arms and pulled up my eyebrows.
"Right... Uhm.. How have you been?" Luke asked.
"Luke"
"Yeah, sorry, dumb question..."
"You wanted to talk about 'everything'." I stated, drawing quotation marks in the air "I'm listening."
"Okay..." he began "I know you're possibly a bit confused abou-"
"A bit confused?! Are you freaking kidding me Luke? What the hell made you think you could tell me how much I mean to you, pretend to be head over heels for me and then as soon as you get back here, jump on the first female that crosses your way?! Do you even have the slightest idea how that makes me feel?" I ranted furiously, almost yelling at him.
Instead of replying, Luke got up and walked a few steps, despairingly shaking his head. "Have you ever thought about the fact that you're not the only one who felt like that?! Chrissy, my affection for you was freaking tremendous and I felt like a fucking piece of shit when I got back here! Have you ever talked about me to the others? Then you would know that I have spent ninety-nine percent of last year in my room, wishing to go back in time! I was a wreck and the only thing that made sense to me was to distract myself before I got insane!" he explained sorrowfully while sitting back down in front of me.
"Yes, of course I had thought about how lovely it would've been to call you and hear your voice but then again it killed me to know I couldn't see your pretty face in person, hear your lovable laugh when I tell a bad joke or kiss those lips that used to meet mine with such adoration." he softly spoke as he rearranged himself closer to me and before I could show any kind of reaction, he lifted my chin and crashed his lips onto mine, relieving emotions inside of me that had been stuck there for over a year.
I couldn't help but move in absolute sync with him until the invincible urge to inhale broke us apart.
"Luke?..." I heavily breathed out.
"Yeah?"
"I think you should leave..."

I walked back and forth, my hand shaking everytime I reached out for my phone which had Aleisha's number dialed on the screen. "I have to tell her.." I encouraged myself, finally pressing the green button.
"Hello?" she said, her voice shaking a tad.
"Hi... It's Chrissy. Uhm, can you come over? We, uh, we have to talk."
"I'll be there in a minute."
After a while she entered my living room and sat down on the same spot Luke had been sitting on a day before.
"Alright..." I began, rubbing my sweaty hands up and down my pants. "There's something I need to tell you."
"Sorry for interrupting, but can I start? Because I have news as well." she asked and went on. "I know this might be a shock but.... I broke up with Luke." A lump formed in my throat and I was about to reply when she cut me off. "You don't have to say anything. During our 'relationship' I never truly felt like he was seeing me when he looked at me, you know? I knew that there was something else on his mind, more like someone else. And yes, I know this someone is you."
"Aleisha, I'm so sorry..."
"Don't apologize. Honestly where is the point in having a relationship in which neither of us is happy. I feel like he would be much luckier with you and if there's someone better for him, there will also be someone better for me."
"I really don't know what to say..." I replied, trying to comprehend what she just said.
"What about we stop right here and do something like go to town? We haven't had a girl's day in so long!" Aleisha suggested, receiving a hug from me.
----------------------------------
Multiple bags in each of our hands, we stepped into the familiar smell of a starbucks shop. After ordering our drinks, my gaze swept across the café as I tried to find free seats, but I could only find some at a table which was taken by a pretty girl with shoulder lenght light brown hair. She sipped from her coffe every now and then while her eyes were focused on the guy sitting across from her, who seemed kind of familiar, until he eventually turned around and I recognized him as...Calum?
