Zoë's POV:

It's 7am on a sunny Saturday and for some weird reason I'm cleaning my house early in the morning.

Cleaning isn't my thing at all and I do it rarely, but coming out of bed early isn't just rare, it just doesn't happen.

Until today.

I've been busy ever since 6am and since I woke up I felt like today is going to be a wonderful day, even though I still don't know why.

I'm now mopping the floor and singing along to my playlist and honestly, I didn't know cleaning a house could be this fun. I mostly clean my house on Sundays and those are the days I dread the most, but today I'm actually having fun with cleaning my house.

All of a sudden my music stops, causing me to curse as I make my way over to my phone, only to see Hayley had called me. I decide to send her a text.

Zoo🐙:
Hey Hels, you called.

Hels😈 :
I did!

Zoo🐙:
Well, why you called?

Hels😈:
Because I've got a text from Tammy yesterday.

Zoo🐙:
You did what?

Hels😈:
I GOT A TEXT FROM TAMMY. Better? Listen, within 5 minutes I'll be on your doorstep to tell you everything.

Zoo🐙:
But I'm cleaning

She dares, leaving me on read like that.

I decided to continue with singing along to the song that was playing and with mopping the parts that haven't been covered with soap yet, hoping I'll be finished before Hayley arrives.

After another 5 minutes of mopping and singing my buzzer indeed goes off and while Hayley makes her way up after I've buzzed her in I put away my mop and turn off my speaker.

When I hear her knock on the door I open it, only to be jumped by the blonde haired girl in front of me, my head meeting the wooden floor I had.

"Bro bro chill out! I've just mopped my whole floor!" I tell the girl, who obviously didn't read my text well, while laying on the ground with her on top of me, great.

"Ooh shit! I'm so sorry! It's just that I'm so excited!" She replies while hugging me as we've gotten up, me giving her a hug back.

When we're done I let her come inside and hand her a cup of tea while putting her coaster on the table.

"Now, spill." I demand when I finally sit down.

"So, yesterday I might've gotten a little bit tipsy. When the alcohol really kicked in I told myself with all the confidence I gained at the time that he'd text me and as I was manifesting it I got a notification." She blushes a little, not really knowing what to say about it. Truth be told, Hayley wasn't the type of person to just hand her number out like that, especially not with guys. I haven't seen her with one in forever, which says enough.

"Is something wrong?" I ask as she keeps shifting in her seat a bit, something she'd do when she'd feel uncomfortable.

"It's just the fact that I'm too shy to talk to him while being sober. I couldn't even recall the conversation I had with him until I saw that he sent me a 'gm' this morning." He admits truthfully.
