Mason's POV:

I wake up with a light headache, a red cup in my hand and some vague memories of yesterday. I look around, hoping I'd maybe find Zoë or Reece, until I remember they left together yesterday, which makes my blood boil again.

I just never expected that of all people that Reece would head off with someone I liked. I even told him and Tammy that I fancied her at the cafe and he told me I needed to go for it, but now it seemed like he backstabbed me. Besides that he has Zara, he shouldn't even be with Zoë like that.

Before I can think any further about what happened last night I stand up and walk down the stairs to the fridge, hoping I could find something to eat.

"Hey man." Tammy speaks up when he sees me entering the kitchen, making me jump a little bit.

"Tammy? What you doing up this early? It's like-''

"8am? I know. I don't know why I stood up this early. You should ask my body innit?" He shrugs as he puts two bowls on his marble kitchen counter.

"You want coco pops or frosted shredders?" Tammy asks while getting the milk out of the fridge.

"Give me some coco pops." I respond while going through my messy morning hair and a groggy morning voice.

"Bro, you seem off. What's going on then?" Tammy asks as he gives me a curious glare, obviously curious as to why I wasn't myself today.

"It's nothing man." I shrug, hoping he'd drop the subject.

"It's not nothing if you're already being whiny about it. Spill." He instructs as he puts the milk back in his fridge and the cornflakes back in its place above the fridge on a shelf.

"Alright alright, but give me my coco pops first." I instruct.

After I get my coco pops and Tammy sits down as I begin eating my breakfast, ignoring the fact I had to explain the matter to Tammy, which I really wasn't in the mood for right now.

"Alright big man. Speak up." He says as he copies my movements, also beginning on his breakfast.

"So you know Zoë right?"

"No I don't." Tammy says jokingly, getting a glare from me indicating I could shoot daggers at him at this point.

"But what's up with her? Is she even here?" He wonders as he gives me a questioning look.

"That's the point bro, listen. Yesterday while we were having that chat about giving everyone different and new nicknames?" I ask, it being the only vivid memory I have of the night.

"Vaguely. You literally called Chilly Ice Man and Kurt called me Tree Man." Tammy laughs, stopping immediately as he sees the serious expression on my face.

"Go on."

"Mid conversation I realised she wasn't with us anymore. When I scanned the room around to search her I saw her hugging with Reece." I confess, leaning back a bit in the seat I sat in.

"So what? Reece and I literally said it's your girl. We know how stunning she is, but she's all yours. And besides that Reece has Zara, and believe me when I tell you he's loyal as hell to her." Tammy reasons, making me think about the situation even more.

"I know. I just don't have a good feeling about it. I observed them throughout the party and when they weren't in your room anymore I saw them leaving with Hayley." I tell Tammy as his eyes widen, me not really understanding why.

"Wait, Hayley left?" Tammy asks while going through his hair, the movement he made earlier with his eyes making sense now.

"Bro listen! It's not about Hayley. It's about Reece and Zoë. They talked for hours. What if they dropped Hayley off and just went back to his place after or-''
